I normally don’t write reviews, but I had a very uncomfortable, humiliating experience here today. My partner took me in to look at some rings and ask about trading in some family heirloom rings, and a newer ring given to me by a relative who passed.We came in 2 days prior shortly before closing and had a great experience but were told to come back on another day due to locking away the fine jewelry for the day. Today we went back.The manager and my partner discussed trading and items that the store may be interested in, and the manager disregarded many of the items as junk, including the jewelry- we learned some were gold plated and one was great quality. To be fair, my partner made some not-so-great comments, but the manager ended up shouting at us, while pacing the store, that the ring is only worth $100, no one else would take it, and taunted my partner as I tried to de-escalate the situation.As a small woman of color, I felt disrespected, humiliated, and uncomfortable, particularly because there were 2 other employees in the store watching silently as the manager continued to taunt him.The items we had weren’t valuable according to him, that’s understandable. What’s Not is the disrespect from an individual in charge of running the store.

I bought a camera and a couple of coins from here, and they didn't know the camera they gave me didn't work so I took it back and they gave me another one we'll turns out that one didn't work either, so I took it back and they gave me a better camera than the one I bought at no extra charge so I ended up getting a great deal. These guys will do you right.

We had some miscellaneous jewelry that we had been given or inherited. Not needing it, we decided to see about selling it. Tolivers was the first place we went, and the staff was very friendly. We felt we received a fair market price for the jewelry we sold.

I have been shopping here since 2017. From that experience I only buy my jewelry here. Excellent quality and exceptional prices. The guys who work here love what they do and you can tell. Awesome service as well ?
