Everyone is so kind and caring. Even though they are always very busy, you never feel rushed. Wonderful people and a wonderful place to receive care close to home.

I have been going to the Murfreesboro office for 9 years for my PET and CT scans and even though I live in Lebanon and they have opened a site here I still make the drive to Murfreesboro every 9 weeks, Why? because the staff and especially the techs are amazing. From the very first scan they silenced my nerves and made me feel relaxed, they are warm, friendly, caring and very professional. I am always greeted with a warm smile and usually a laugh because I'm usually late, but I have never felt rushed or like I was just a number to them they take an interest in me. my overall health and even my family. Each and everyone of them is warm and caring and doing a job that it takes a very special person to do. That is why I will continue to go to Tennessee Pet Scan in Murfreesboro. Thank you to each and everyone of you! you have helped to make the last 9 years a little bit easier

On 12-16-20 I had an appointment for a Pet Scan. I am 74 years old with mobility issues. Bad knees, inoperable rotary cuff, recovering from wrist replacement last week. So lets say getting in and out of chairs, standing up some time may require some assistance etc. The Pet Scan is for a Cancer concern. I have had numerous MRI's as well as Cat Scans as well as many operations in my lifetime. Here is my complaint with TN PETSCAN . Patient negligence . After taken Back to the prep room I removed my jacket for the blood withdrawal and dye injection. After this was done the tech threw the recliner full back, reached down and plugged in a space heater, opened the door and turned the lights so dim that it was almost dark and walked out and said I'll see you in an hour. Note: from the time I entered the room and the time the tech left there was not a dozen words spoken.I could not believe what Just happened ! Now I have heard of horror stories about nursing homes but now I kind of understand. "Turn out the lights and shut the door". Here I am Immobile, cold, (remember I had to remove my jacket all I had on was a Tee shirt) Almost flat on my back and pretty much in the dark. Knowing with all the fluids I had to drink and being a Prostate Cancer survivor that the rest room was forthcoming , So after about 15 minutes I decided no one was going to check on me. The Pet Scan Monitor station was just across from my room, wide open with no walls. So I spoke out with a HELLO, waited about 30 seconds and repeated this at this interval and each time raising the decibel level up a notch. Finally the door opened and about 5 people was staring in to see what was going on. Another tech entered, turned on the lights and asked what I needed. First I asked for my chair to be set upright and asked for assistance with putting on my jacket that I was cold. He asked If I wanted a blanket. I answered with please! As he left he went to turn the lights down again. I asked it be left on .. Note: So far no one has asked what I needed or if I was comfortable etc. In another words, no bedside manner, or being cognitive of the patients needs. There again not a dozen words was spoken from this tech either. After about 30 minutes the restroom call came about. I needed some assistance to get up out of the recliner but I was not going through that again. I finally wormed my self out of the recliner and almost fell twice trying to reach my cane. Now at 74 years old I have never sued anyone, I was not raised that way. But if I had fallen and injured myself a suit my have been forthcoming for patient neglect.I guess you get the point by now, the communication and assistance was not much better than this getting in an out of the Pet Scan Machine.I felt sorry for my wife who was setting in the waiting area for almost three hours. She said it was so loud that the giggling and Party time that the two receptionist was having was really out of place to the point she could not hear the waiting room TV.Bottom line .. Tennessee PETSCAN seems to be more progressive than professional, with the appearance of a circus up front, and complacentry in the back with a dire need of a managerial reassessment/evaluation; and needs to survey other Imaging facilities like Summit Imaging and see how people are treated, especially us older ones.. With a little more caring and respect.Needless to say if another Pet Scan is needed in the future, Tennessee PETSCAN in Murfreesboro will not be on my list. Now here
