Food is good, outside tables are nice. Looks somewhat shabby from the outside, but don't get discouraged :)

Good place to stop for gas or food. They make breakfast and lunch and prices are good enough. They make some really good lunches.

I've had great service here, they have home style quick eats, one of my favorites are the Jalapeno Poppers

Great little hole in the wall, right on the side of the road. I had the hamburger steak lunch special with green beans and macaroni and cheese. I got the last one. They sold out...that is how popular this place is. I will definitely stop by next time I am in the area. The employees were so friendly too!

Three stars for the facility. Four stars for customer service. I can't remember who built this place but I remember it in the hands of the Campbell's and the Duke's and now this gentleman who has the most fetching Lascassas accent and is as delightful as he can be. In the honored tradition of country store proprietors, he knows who is who and from whence they high--maybe without telling your momma what you been up to--or, then again, maybe not. Smokey's is what you would expect. Hot burner coffees, made a pot at a time for you to help yourself. Drink coolers, ice. Fried stuff. And today, pot roast. That surprised me. The sad part is few of us hang around any more to catch up on local news. There were a couple of grumpy guys sitting down for breakfast today, whinging about what I know naught, but it did make me a bit wistful. Bet they were eating ham biscuits. So come in, order something to eat, take a load off and watch the local world race in and out and watch our man masterfully glean bits of info. He has adapted.
