If I am being totally transparent, the place was originally alright, I have been going there for the past few months for the card game community. I was initially told a few months ago by Trevor and Joey that on Tuesdays there are local Digimon players that come in and play other card games. I am not a fan of Digimon and had asked if I could introduce a card game called Cardfight Vanguard to which they replied it would be okay as long as I pay the table fee to come and play. I have complied with this every week habitually on Tuesday and Thursday (I have receipts and can prove this) with paying for the table fee and buying other various items. Recently a small community has formed of at least 10 people. As of today, Joey had went around stating "If we do not sell it, you cannot play it here.", even though we had paid our fees for the day. I had gone up to ask him about this rule to which he replied "It was always a rule and I just never noticed you guys playing" even though he blatantly watched us play the games multiple times. This rule has not been posted anywhere within the store and the only rule posted on their tables states that you must pay at least a $5 table fee to play which can either be paid outright or paid by buying merchandise because they are "not running a charity" which is posted on their tables (picture attached). I understand needing to make money but that is a rude way of stating it.Before this is mentioned, I have made sure several times that it would be okay to play there, to which it was cleared every time. I have asked if they would ever be willing to carry it, to which it was denied every time. I thought if a following had started they would be more willing to do so, but apparently not. Do not have us pay money if you will not allow us to play!

I have been in the shop periodically over the past few years. Almost every time I go everyone working are unhelpful, rude, and dismissive before even interacting with me. I'm not sure how they have gotten so many good reviews on here unless they are bots. If you want tk have a decent social experience from a card shop then don't go here. There are no good card shops in murfreesboro. You would have to go to the game cave in Nashville or alternate dimensions in Tullahoma if you want a decent experienceEdit: this review was replied to by the store saying I am just being petty, no, I have never had decent experiences at this store. I'm not "being petty". The staff has always just been extremely rude and unfriendly. Which was the original complaint.

Never had a bad time out of my 4 visits thus far, but it is a business proper, so there are no outright free things, but again, that is not their fault. I mearly compair this to my old favorite card shop I had, but also to this locations credit, they survived through covid, my favorite and first shop, did not.

Wonderful mash up of a comics and tabletop and card game store. You're sure to find what you're looking for here. The owner cares about the place and the store is week organized. There are several tables available where you can spread out and play with your group of friends.

This place is amazing! They have a little bit of everything for all game, comic, movie and tv enthusiasts! We could have stayed all day but we happened to have stopped by during a Pokemon tournament and it was a little crowded. I cant wait to go back!!

The reviews to this place are wowing and the replies from the owner are very funny. Good job TN folks... anyway If you're looking for plamo/gunpla and have multiple places you're interested in going, then I suggest you go to the other place.

Trevor was very helpful. I came in looking for a 2-player board game and he not only showed me where they were, but went over a variety of genre's and games, giving their pro's and cons and best recommendations for ones that were most enjoyable with limited players. I'll definitely be back. Knowledgeable and professional staff, clean and spacious facility.

Adventures await inside these doors if your looking to host DND outside the home. A good size play space with tonsssss of collectibles and comics enough to suit almost every taste. Super chill staff, looking forward to coming to play a game here soon.

Nice story, very clean, but much of the stock seems sparse are the clerk wanted to chit chat with customers rather than make sales.

Grand Adventures: Comics & Games at 1103 NW Broad St A, Murfreesboro, TN is an awesome place for any age that enjoys MTG cards or Comic books. This place is huge and very clean. Staff was awesome and on Wednesday nights they host the Pokemon Card tournaments. I attended with 3 of my kids and the entire group plus the staff treated us with full respect and kindness. We will be back to learn and enjoy in the safe for family environment.

I don’t get a lot of free time anymore. When I do get a chance to come to the store, service and knowledge is top notch. You can’t ask for a better shop. ‘Nuff said!

Do not recommend this place. The owner is prideful and isn't open to communication. He banned two friends from the store one over a small dispute over prize support and the other just for associating with him.I highly recommend going else where especially for anything MTG related as players and customers are very clearly not welcomed here.Edit: The people in question since the owner. Chris Pryor. Wants to play d*** as Jimmy Bannister(argued about prize support and argued about pricing of product) and Barry Chaffin(literal just for associating with Jimmy)

Do not come here expecting to enjoy playing Magic the Gathering. If you’re friends with anyone banned, you will be banned by association. If you try to bring players to help support the store after their magic scene died, they really don’t care. I was banned for zero reason than I am friends with someone who got banned years ago. I played here for years supporting this store even when the prize support was an actual garbage fire and we just wanted to have fun, spent plenty of money and had great conversations with everyone here, but that doesn’t matter if you’re friends with someone who left a bad review years ago, let me preface this with I played multiple pre-releases and events after this person was banned and not a word was said to me until today when I tried to pre/register for an event. This store does not want your money, they just want to be in their feelings and not actually foster an actual community for M:TG.by the way, Chris. I'm the second guy Medlen was referring to, you banned me for zero reason.

Their prices on sealed MTG products are absurdly overpriced compared to other local LGS’s. God forbid you tell them that though otherwise they will ban you from the premisses. MTG gamers beware they are price gouging here. Go elsewhere.

This place has been amazing place to go for years. The community is very welcoming and even through 2020, the owner and staff were a god send. I literally could not imagine going anywhere else. Thank you to the staff at GA for keeping the doors open and growing our community!
