It is absolutely impossible to get anyone on the phone. You must set up appointments to even speak with someone, which is crazy. There are way too many other companies out there that do the same thing with good customer service, so there is no need to even try Geek Squad in my opinion.

The Geek Squad, Murfreesboro was outstanding in installing and setting up multiple devices at my home. There was a number of items to be installed and multiple teams ended up coming over to help out. They were courteous, very professional it really helped us out.

I have had to use them twice and made my appointment....only to WAIT in line while they waited on other people who did NOT have appointments! Just what I needed, an extra 45 mins of wait time only to leave my new lap top for 3 days and not to have my issues resolved.Why make an appointment?

Horrible experience. No one that works there knows what's going on, they don't keep up with important notes for services, and they don't communicate with one another or with outside manufacturing companies with which they do business.All I needed was a data back up to be done, and then my laptop keyboard to be fixed. I was told the back up would be done and then the laptop would be shipped to the manufacturer to be fixed as it was still under warranty and that it would take two weeks. A week and half later I called to check in on things because I hadn't received any notifications or updates as they had said I would. The guy I spoke to on Wednesday said he didn’t have any notes on if the data back up was completed before it was shipped, as I had requested so I would have access to my work while they had my computer. He said because there were no notes and the external hard drive was gone, he could only assume it was shipped with the laptop, which, according to him, had already been shipped back from the manufacturer. He said I could expect to come get it that evening or the following day. I didn’t hear anything after that, so I called Saturday morning. I was told that my computer had not been shipped back and they didn’t know why the guy on Wednesday told me it had been. I was also told that their notes indicated that the manufacturer had requested to speak to me several days ago but no one had notified me. Attempted to call the manufacturer, but they were closed on the weekends. Finally spoke to someone on Monday who told me that in the two weeks they had had my computer, nothing had been done because the name on the ticket (mine) didn’t match the name on the account (my brother’s). When I went down to the store to see what could be done, I was treated very rudely by the manager on duty who admitted he had no idea what was going on because there were no notes anywhere, despite the many different people I had spoken to over the past two weeks. He said he could create an account for me then send another request in which would take another two weeks, so a total of four weeks without my laptop for a simple keyboard issue. He stormed off into the back after saying he needed to gather more information, but I had no idea if I was supposed to wait or if I could leave, and he hadn’t even told me his name so I couldn’t call after him.I’m extremely frustrated with my first experience with the geek squad and I hope to never use them again. I wanted to cancel everything and receive my money (for the data back up that wasn’t done) and laptop back, but was told if I did so the manufacturer could refuse to return my laptop. I don’t understand how they can threaten people with that, when I own my laptop outright and don’t owe any payments since it was covered under warranty.
