Black mold in shower and still wouldn't refund at all, will be calling health department just to see what they state. I got an immediate headache and throat scratchy, and the smell was bad. (Room 110)Every room stinks, some like weed and some like I don't even know.Would never ever recommend staying here. I did want the cheapest hotel, so makes since its the crappiest in town.Please please find better, even the people werent helpful.. wouldn't even get off their lazy butts and help find rooms because its a bit of a maze inside and out. Took being a bit sassy to get them to do anything. Also they have a big lg tv in the room, but all it says is no signal... unless I'm just the dumb one lol but it doesn't work and cops are constantly over here, multiple, and random slow drivers outside that i never see go into rooms. Plus loouud people outside and they smoke even if your room is no smokingAgain find somewhere else. Not to mention taxes on the pet fee?? Never ever had this happen or heard of it.Rooms: Awful stench, mold, not working electronicsSafety: I wouldn't say it's the safest at all.Walkability: Its okay, but need to cross busy roadsNoteworthy details: Black mold in rooms, lazy unfriendly workers, extreme stench in most, if not all rooms (checked 4 of them), not safe, tv doesn't work

This hotel is great! My room was clean and beds comfortable. Bathroom is top notch and luxurious. Staff is super friendly and does a fantastic job cleaning rooms. Pat and everyone at front desk make checking in easy. Great location highly recommend.

Absolute Trash!!!!!!! The worst of the worst ! I can’t stress this enough to anyone thinking of staying here AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!! Everything about this brief stay was nothing short of complete disappointment !!!!#1 - room smelled of rancid combination of rotting sewage, marijuana , all the cigarettes the world has ever smoked , and urine . Tickled the nostrils to the point of extreme nausea.#2 - Jacuzzi was broken . Apparently it has been for days, months , perhaps even years. Website promotes that they have one and clearly that is in fact just a web of lies to get you to come stay . The floating liquid items in the jacuzzi were more suspect. Looked like ejaculatory fluids of some kind. Real charming . Absolutely 100% disgusting ?# 3- saved the best one for last . Cockroaches everywhere! Babies to adults ! I was an exterminator for many years and if you have babies everywhere they’re breeding everywhere !! They’re in every light socket , every appliance or heat source. Made my skin crawl . Had to check through everything to make sure we didn’t bring anything with us . They can get into the smallest crevices and breed . Once we saw this that was the final straw . Matched right down to the front desk.Was told if we were unsatisfied with our stay we would be refunded our full money for the night if we turned our keys in . This was 90 mins after checking in. WELL we were lied to . They sent us an email claiming they couldn’t care less and they wouldn’t honor what we were promised .Clarion Inn you are the absolute scum of the earth . Just a bunch of cockroaches like your forever guests that have never truly left ! You are spineless and weak . Disgusts me that you didn’t honor your word . I will never stop spreading the word of what a cockroach loving institution you are . Enjoy your run down broken jacuzzi and your lack of human decency and respect .A person is only as good as your word and your words are only LIES!!!!!NEVER AGAIN -100,000,000 rating

The breakfast was subpar at best. The lady “running” it was rude and checking room numbers as you walked in. I highly doubt there are people coming in off the street for this food lol. She was probably one of the rudest people that I’ve encountered in this type of setting and I live in Illinois! Also was she really working there? She was wearing sweat pants and sweat shirt and looked as though she hadn’t combed her hair!

Room had roaches(small ones to adults)!Housekeeping will harass you about checkout!Jacuzzi is out of serviceSketchy people around the hotelPrice is decent but it's not worth the roaches and the harassment!

Place is a little rough around the edges. Staff is friendly. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was good. Plenty of parking. Hot tub was broken. Pool inside was open. No laundry on site. No ice bucket in our room. Water coming out of faucet was cloudy if not ran for a bit. It's a very old hotel that has been remodeled. Good value.

The hot tub is broke, the indoor pool is about 50 degrees, our first room smelled like smoke, the hallway door was broke for the 2nd, but we eventually got in the room. It was dank and hot, ran the AC about 30 minutes to get reasonably comfortable. The bathtub has no stopper so showers only. Bathroom door won't close because it's not square with the frame. Front desk was friendly enough.

This hotel is not good. The hot tub was broken. The doors don't latch nor shut (so you have to pull your door shut). A lot of questionable people at this hotel. We went to the area to see where breakfast would be served, and there was a drag queen strip tease going on in there and not at all appropriate. My 17 yr old was with us, and I was not happy to walk in and see this! Plus, the windows and lights are wide open to everyone in and off the streets going by. The breakfast was cold lights are off the people in there to monitor were very sketchy and opinionated. It's not good hospitality to get people to come back. They were negative about the food they were serving. The hotel is huge and extremely empty, extremely sketchy. It seems this is a place where you go to do certain acts and acquire certain products. Not a hotel to stay for a vacation not to bring kids Ever

This hotel was TERRIBLE. Went for a state championship stay and this was the only available option. Never again!! Huge blood stains that soaked through the mattress, bedbugs everywhere, dead roaches in the shower, poop stains on the towels, and our shower even flooded our bathroom. Moved rooms and curtains didn't close so we had to tie them shut. Also had to prop the drain open so the shower water would drain. Not to mention this place that you all call a hotel was attached to a nightclub. Do not recommend, get out while you can.

It's your typical cheap hotel. Indoor heated pool was ice cold, breakfast was disappointing, people checking the door handle to see if the door would open, only good thing was it's location. It was not what I expected. First glance it seemed fine except that the smoke free room smelled like smoke. There were burn marks on the toilet seat and we had to call down for a remote control because our room didn’t have one. The indoor pool was too cold to swim and the hot tub was out of order.The breakfast did it in for me. It was limited and bad. It looked as tho the sausage was just reheated from the day before. The biscuits were hard as rocks and the eggs were very runny. The cream cheese, jellies and jams were in their own containers that everyone shared. HELLO COVID! When I asked them to please refill the orange juice they told me they were out because there was only about a quarter cup left in the pitcher. They just opened. We were the first visitors! When I complained they had ridiculously stupid excuses. They are located across the street from a Walmart! All the bags of bread and things behind the counter said Great Value!Laziness and cheap is the two words I would use to describe this hotel. I will add the word disappointed to describe my overall experience here. They need to do better!

I didn't like the layout of this hotel. The doors all used to be facing outside, but construction was done to have the doors inside (just weird). There roaches in my room and I checked out the next morning.

Worst hotel ever! Don't waste your time or money! Roaches, bed bugs, ants oh my! The stench alone!!!! There are also hookers and drug dealers living and dealing there! The staff was not helpful at all. Housekeeping truly suck. So disgusting! Pools hot tub nasty and cold! Run away from here! Negative rating for them. I could go on, but I digress...

Police raid, No hot water, gas leak. Still checking in people. Dirty, dirty rooms. Someone washed "dry clean only" curtains... Liner is longer than the curtain. Its truly unsightly. The rooms and halls smell awful! Refused to give any kind of refund for no hot water. Lets not forget, no breakfast! No coffee. Please stay away, very unsafe.
