I love bargain hunt! Specifically this store has been good to me. However, on my day off this week I came in to shop and had an absolutely horrible experience. An associate by the name of Gwen had been giving me the nastiest look since I walked in. She made me feel so unwelcome and uncomfortable. When I went to go checkout she was rude and disrespectful towards me and the other employees. I would love to come back and shop as I normally do, but I may not be back after this incident.

We stopped to get snacks to take on vacation. There was an item on our receipt that wasn't something we purchased. Gwendolyn was able to refund the price back to my debit card. Very happy with the cashier, Gwendolyn, and the quick resolution.

The way Big Lots used to be about 30 years ago, with lots of actual, random closeouts and seconds. It's a hodgepodge but there are real deals. Checkout staff is excellent.
