Update: I had a major car emergency a few months ago, oil filter housing went bad and was causing oil and coolant to leak under. It was a Sunday and only a few places were open, so I decided to go with my gut and take it here cause I frequent the location for oil changes. The service from Ian was amazing and the work that the team did was great. I was back on the road Monday afternoon after the parts arrived. The total did knock me over the head a little but it was fair and they even added a coupon.

“Consistently the best mechanics I've ever had, I've been going for at least 5 years. They're a bit far for me ever since I moved, but I still make the drive just because of their honesty and work ethic. I had a mechanic at a different place a few hours away try to charge me almost $2000 for oil leaking in 3 spots, and coolant in 1 spot. I took it to Hackett that same week and they fixed everything for under $200, and it hasn't given me problems since. Nothing Hackett has repaired on my car has ever given me trouble, as opposed to other mechanics I've had to use when I'm too far. I know it's just a business, but these guys actually make me feel like they care about what they do. I have more situations they helped me out of, but I don't want to sit here and write a full paper.

Recently, my Subaru's air conditioning unexpectedly went out, and they diagnosed and fixed the problem in a lightning-fast 70 minutes. You heard that right, folks--70 freaking minutes! Their skills are undeniable, and they saved me both considerable time and money. Local shops quoted outrageous prices, as well as wait times, just to diagnose my Subaru's A/C issue. Meanwhile, Jon, Tonya, and their crew of awesome mechanics fixed it entirely for a fraction of the cost and in record-breaking time. “Mattie was the absolute best! I was traveling from Florida was stranded waiting for a tow for 4 HOURS! By the time I arrived it was minutes before 530, but my insurance company stated that it would open til 930pm. Let me tell you this girl seen the panic and desperation and she worked me. Big T and Terry are sweethearts who helped me out (a traveling out-of-towner). They were able to secure 3 more tires that I needed by the next morning, allowing me to get back on the road safely. The price was beyond reasonable as well.

Some stuff was bent and it wasn’t likely an easy job, But Donnie there ended up coming through and nailing it. It’s a 20 year old Tacoma, and his color matching is so good it’s hard to tell the good paint from the old body paint. They were super honest and up front the whole time. Thank God for small businesses still existing!”

“This tire shop is very friendly! I called ahead to make sure they were going to be there. I told him I would get there at his closing time. They said to bring it and they would wait and fix it. They had it off and fixed in less than 15 mins!!! Those guys were working one tire after another even past closing that was posted. You can't beat the price either! Definitely go there if you need a tire fixed”

“I just got an email asking me to leave a review for Rays. I went there about 7 years ago, but their service was memorable. I went to Toyota of Murfreesboro for a catalytic converter recall, and they tried to force me to agree to over $5000 of work over a small oil leak. I had never seen a drop under the truck. I took it to Rays and they found that the Toyota tech had damaged my oil pressure sensor! They replaced it in one day for $150”

“Had a good experience here. My car was totalled by a tow truck earlier this year, so I needed a different vehicle. Sales team was great and patient. Explained everything very well, and I felt no pressure while I was there. Service department has been great each time I've gone for oil changes. The only less positive experience I had was with the manager himself. Remember, this car was for me. I would be driving it. I would be making the payments. I would be the primary person listed on the car. My husband came along with me that day just because we always have eachother co sign things. Just a preference. I co sign for him and vice versa. Plus, my credit was GREAT about 1.5 years ago, but credit card fraud got committed with over 12k run up in my name without my knowledge, and it's not fully fixed. So it just seemed wise. Manager/owner came over to the table while my husband was in the restroom. Manager asked where my husband was. I said in the restroom. So he said he'd come back in a bit. He came back when my husband was around and talked to only him. And then congratulated him on his new car as we left and didnt look my way. It's truly not the biggest of deals. So I'm not sure why to this day it bothers me. He seemed like an overall good guy. I'm sure statistically if couples are there together, maybe it is the man paying. But my suggestion, in order to make a buying experience as wonderful as possible, know who the vehicle is for and speak to the right person.”
