The staff was nice, professional and only took about 30 minutes. I think you can do a pre screen online to make it even quicker

*Updated: Customer support has reached out and seems interested in improving the experience for neurodivergent donors. The actual blood donation process went well and he did do well despite his initial anxiety. I've modified my review accordingly and will visit this location again since this seems like it may have been an anomalous occurrence. I look forward to being able to update again with a full 5 stars after the next visit.Original Review: My adult son who is autistic gets nervous donating blood and we were told that one of us could go with him when he donated however I was just refused entry for his donation appointment. We likely won’t come back to this location unfortunately. We are both fully vaccinated and arrived masked but the lady at the door wouldn’t honor what we were previously told.

Appointments and masks are required here. Those that are fully vaccinated do not have to wear a mask during their donation.Volunteers and staff are very friendly and ensure you are comfortable. Lite refreshments after to ensure you are able to leave, normally you stay between 10-15 minutes, though some may take a bit longer.Reccomend downloading the Red Cross Donor App. It let's you keep track of your appointments to schedule/reschedule, physical at the time of donation, how many times you donated and when you can donate again.

I made an appointment for this Red Cross location and they took me back right away after filling out my paperwork. Alica .... That's totally not spelled right but she did a great job and was so friendly and kept me company while I donated. I received a snack and a T-shirt on the way out! I highly recommend this location.

You should learn how to have someone at the front desk. Walk in at 12:15 , make eye contact with 3 people, get ignored. I walked out at 12:20. Guess you don’t need B+ blood as bad as you claim. I’ve never had a good experience on a Friday at a Red Cross.

If I could put 0 stars I would. It was my very first time at this facility and I've never felt so unwanted at a place in my life. The lady I had was Gracie. Gracie had a terrible attitude, did not smile once while I was there, judging my decision to even donate platelets because I haven't donated at that facility before. She is highly inexperienced and I could tell. Her coworker asked her why she was taking her jacket off and she said she was about to do a stick and her coworker said, "oh you're getting brave!" It was then I should've gotten someone else or just left. I had been stuck many times by new phlebotomists before and they did amazing. I don't know who let this woman pass her phlebotomy course.I specifically told her that my veins were deep in my elbow area and she most likely won't get it there. (Most doctors can't get it there, they get my hand) well she tried my hand, couldn't get it. Hydration was no problem because I had drank a full bottle of water and then some before I had gotten there. Then she decided that she was going to try my elbows anyway. Well that was on Sunday. It's now Thursday and I've had nasty bruises on my arms where this woman stuck me and was fishing for a vein. Sunday I was in crazy pain after and couldn't straighten my left arm out fully. I've never seen my skin so bruised in my life. A couple days ago, my bruises were black, purple, blue and that's NEVER happened to me in my life.Obviously I didn't get to donate and I was so upset. Gracie told me that "I should probably stick to donating whole blood" NO you just didn't know what in the hell you were doing. The WORST experience in my entire life. TERRIBLE first impression. Gracie does NOT need to be working there. And I will never come back.

I went to give blood, signed in and waited for 40 minutes only to be told by 2 nurses they would be with me shortly then 15 mins later the head person says we arent taking anymore walkins. After sitting there for 40 mins i wasnt a walkin. She was awful and they are not on the same page. I gave my time and was trying to donate. They dont have to worry about me coming in the future when they couldnt care anyless about my time.

This is one of the best donation centers I have been to in my life, I give blood every two months, the people at this location are unbeatable, they are the best and very compassionate. I love this location and will continue to go here, a great group of people helping save lives.
