Most of the employees are very nice and helpful. It is very helpful when they can simply tell me exactly where what I'm looking for is,which they usually can. The prices and inventory, however, are questionable.It is ridiculously expensive compared to other local options, and half of the time, what I'm in there looking for isn't even in stock. There's always emptyplaces on the shelves, so I'm always missing something and having to find it elsewhere. At my age, doing a bunchof running around isn't what I have in mind.The empty shelves of COVID-times have been over with for a long while now.

Front-end service was terrible.I approached the register with my items, and I could hear that the cashier was on her cell phone via speaker with someone.I was never acknowledged, not even a cursory glance, as my items were tallied up. This cashier was more invested in a cell phone conversation than she was with someone who helps pay her salary.I have complained to Food Country Corporate about similar behavior and overall lack of professionalism in the past, but never received a response. This will be my last time visiting this establishment. Food Lion has better prices anyway, and they'll at least acknowledge your prescence.Do better.

3 grocery stores in Mountain City. You overpriced and gouge, are you proud, you should be ashamed. I am old and retired, been all over the world. You grift the vulnerable, acting pompous.

I love my little hometown store.. BUT.. they could hire people who doesn't look down on their customers. Been going to this store for 5 years now, and it seems as if you are look down on if you are on public help.. they act like they get offended if you even try to be nice and talk to them as they check out your food..

I live in Johnson County Tennessee and this is my not my first choice when it comes down to grocery shopping.They have a few good items with nothing that I would drive across town to pick upThe store is laid out very complicated.

Store was nearly empty at around 9 am . Selection was adequate but not comprehensive. Overall it’s a nice local community store.
