Brought My Sonoma in to have the pitman arm and power steering pump replaced about a month ago. After they dodged my questions of how long and how much for long enough, I had to come in and see. They were going to charge me 170$ for the pitman arm (which is actually 13$ for a moog, which is the most expensive one they make for my truck) not including the labor... more than 400$ total.. lucky they hadn’t touched it yet or I would have had to take them to court. DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING TO THOSE SQUIDBILLIESServices: Steering & suspension replacement

What a wonderful group of people!! We had a fuel filter problem and were stranded while traveling. We had our Ford F-250 towed to Mac’s and within a couple days we were able to come back and get it. It’s running great and everyone was so very helpful! When our truck broke down we had a large generator in the bed and they were very concerned about theft so they unloaded it and put it inside at night so it wouldn’t be taken. When we got there to pick up our truck 3 guys came out and helped my husband load it up without even asking!! Wonderful service!! Will definitely use them again if in the area!! Thanks Mac’s for getting us back on the road!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I normally do not provide negative feedback, however, this review is warranted as morally and ethically it would be wrong not to warn people about the business practices of this establishment. When I attended college the first year, the ethics of a business and its conduct will be forever etched in my brain as they were important eliminates that will help any business exceed. People who work with the general public should always be nice to their consumers. They are what build and finance your company. On o ethics, whether you are an owner, partner, or separate entity, should treat ALL people fair and equally. Ethics define a business and what it stands for. Your attitude and expressions towards matters that should be the most important will make or break you in the long run and what makes it even harder is how difficult it is to keep information private is the technology and word of mouth we have at our disposal. Businesses need to realize that we are an ever growing technologically advanced society that relies heavy on the use of the internet, daily. People who have been or are in business need to realize what they did 20 years ago can't and should not happen today. With that said, let me provide this brief, but final encounter I will have with an establishment that does not possess a business mindset nor how important consumers are in the small business world. What you say and do can effect you and your business. At the time of my initial contact with “Macs†I was referred as I am not familiar with the area. In November; I entrusted Mac's to repair my vehicle. The owner provided me with a 10 day timeframe. Let me explain something to you so you can remember this in this future. Ethics are detrimental to any business that works in the general public. When you provide a set time frame, a consumer will always rely on that time. At the getgo, this owner has been unjustly rude and it's quite noticeable when the negative action of the person reflects on the consumer. Your tone of voice is important as well, but, what you say to a customer reflects negatively or positively on any business relationship. I feel like I need to provide what Business ethics are the most important. They help build trust. Upon exiting the premises with my service contract, I was told by Mac that my car repair would be completed in 10 days. As a business owner; never tell a customer an exact time frame. My car sat there fo a little over 8 weeks. I rented a vehicle for the week as that would take me out 9 days. Unfortunately, the lack of ethic and professionalism by this person cost me an extra $1,832 dollars on top of the 1,500 plus he was charging me to repair my vehicle. When you know or feel you have a disatisfied business consumer, you DO what you can to make sure before the end of the transaction that you have done everything you could to make this customer want to come back. Well, finally after two months, I get a call that it was finished. I was relieved as I wanted my car back. I was in a dilemma, however. The company I utilized the rental for put a large hold on it after retiring it. I discussed this with Mac and explained that i could give him all but $200.00 of the $1,500 and give him the rest when hold is lifted. which I suspected would be fine. He told me that I could not pick up the car until it was paid in full. First off, I know this, but since this guy had my damn car for two months he would say that is fine. I believe he would even if I asked them for a discount. He said, “No discounts†I really thought he was mistaken as I've let people borrow it for various reasons. know plenty of times where I have helped people out, but as a business owner you need to make sure what you say and do could have negative affects. He should have taken some of the bill off for me knowing how disatisfied I am of his services. Any etchical business owner would have helped me out after the last two months, it would have been nice To show humanity still exists and there are great people and it's people like this who make i

Had to do major repair to front of our van after hitting a deer. They charged significantly less than the other estimates we received and when I came to pick up the van the total came to less than what they quoted (how often does that happen?!).

Shoddy repair work. Took my car in to have the window motor and regulator replaced. Upon picking up my car, I noticed that the window was completely off track, but I had to be at work, so I said I would drop it off at a later date to have it fixed. I drop it off later, and they fix their mistake, but not without charging another $35 for labor. Again, it was their mistake. Later, when pumping gas, I noticed that my door panel hadn't been fully reinstalled, the spacer foam in the the door was upside down, and one of the clips in the door panel had been broken and not replaced. Do not go here. Norman's is right next door.

Here is Hometown Service with Dealership Knowledge. John Michael, has done several repairs for me and our family. There were problems with one repair that they were not at fault about. The Parts were Warranty and there was NO additional Labor charge. But, just so you will know, the Service Station looks like it came directly out of a 1960's Movie. Don't expect Marble Floors and Premium Coffee. There is no Comfortable Couch with Free HBO in the Customer Waiting Room. Heck, there is no Customer Lounge. Just Honest Mechanic Work ... Done Right and at a Decent Price. ((( And NO I don't work for the company )) )
