Had an appointment with Madelyn. She’s great with color but not so great with haircuts. At all. She let me walk out like this. Literally sat in my car crying. Said I wanted to go lighter on my bangs but instead she just cut straight across from the hairs behind the bang. Now it looks like she gave me a fade to my bangs??! I recommend for color, nothing else. Get your hair cut somewhere else. Now I have to wear bandanas till they grow out and I’ll go to another stylist. :( so disappointed
Update: just wanted to share that as a 20 something year old you thought bad haircuts were childhood things. Definitely not. Been wearing a bandana since the haircut everyday. I regret that I came here everyday.

I had been blonde my entire life, and decided to take a risk and go red this year. Madelyn did an amazing job transitioning my hair from blonde, to red with blonde money pieces (so I could adjust to the change first), to finally all over red. I’m obsessed! Her customer service and skill level is unmatched. Madelyn is amazing at her craft, I definitely would recommend checking out this salon.

I’ve been coming to Madelyn for at least 5 years at this point and I wouldn’t let anyone else touch my hair. I’ve even moved states twice during that timeframe and still travel back here to let her do my hair. She listens well, is very honest and I always leave feeling better than I could’ve ever imagined.
10/10 recommend her for literally any hair need.

After many recommendations I decided to give this salon a try. They were able to squeeze me in with very little notice and I got an amazing cut and color!! I've heard great things about numerous stylists and look forward to my next visit!

I just moved to the area and needed a new blonding specialist. My hair is naturally black, and I've been getting my gray blended with blonde. I had light blonde ashy hair. I made an appointment with Dre. She was so nice and the salon itself was very classy and enjoyed the atmosphere and kind staff; however, my hair suffered.
It took years of blonding to get my hair a light ashy blonde. I left Tangles with orange hair. I didn't notice until I got home. Sent photos to my old stylist and she advised that I contact the salon to fix. I called and spoke to the manager and sent photos. She offered to have to corrected, but Dre was booked up for a while, so I went back and saw Heather. Heather was so sweet and tried to get rid of as much orange as possible. She was able to turn some orange pieces lighter, but unfortunately, my hair is still orange; no fault of Heather's.
It appears that my hair was underprocessed, which resulted in Orange everywhere. This is going to be very costly for me to now color correct. I am so sad. Even my teenage daughter noticed and asked why my blonde hair is now orange. Years of great blonde destroyed. See photos.
Update 4/8/24: The owner personally reached out and offered a color correction. It took 6.5 hours and Heather did an amazing job! She got most all orange out. I am so pleased with the results and with the offer to color correct. Increased my rating from 1 ? to 3 ?

Had my color done today at the salon by Dre. She did a fantastic job and I cannot say enough good things about how amazing my hair is now. I definitely will be going back to her for every cut and color.

She did a good job, but it didn’t really turn out how I wanted it to be, since it was left in for 25 minutes it was way curlier then expected and that’s not the style I was wanting, I showed her what I wanted and she said she could do it, so I believed her since she had over 20 years of experience for perming. But it still turned out way to curly. I do recommend her if you want a good perm, but I probably won’t be coming back again since I’m afraid it might turn out the same situation as it is now.

I needed an appointment for today and they squeezed me in. Sydney was my stylist and I felt very beautiful coming out of the salon. Would definitely recommend if you need someone other than your regular stylist.

I always walk away a more confident me after Heather does her magic with my hair. Not only does the color and cut look fantastic, but I also sincerely appreciate Heather’s expertise and recommendations. The price is reasonable and the atmosphere is welcoming and beautifully decorated. I highly recommend Tangles Salon.

What a nice "big city" salon in the middle of little old Mount Juliet. I got a fantastic style and blowout, and everyone was legit friendly, not the fake friendly you get at some salons in faker places. It's worth the drive from Nashville (a friend gave me the scoop, and I am so glad that I came!!).
