10/10 highly recommend. This is the sweetest rescue I’ve ever visited. So much nicer to be around than some of the bigger ones, though all are quite hard to see. I love their mission and will definitely be back to volunteer after my scheduled orientation! I fell in love with all of the dogs, especially a little guy named “Mikey” who was just the sweetest skiddish little thing.

My dog's back legs won't work. My local vet gave me pain pills.. I've tried everything from marijuana chews to scams off of FB. My dog lays on the garage floor, FULL of life, and weighs about 90 lbs.. She whines and deficates on herself and there is nothing I can do. I would do ANYTHING for her. Your facility has an aquatic treadmill and the capacity to help my dog. I would donate to your cause, or anything else you would want if you would just help my dog. Sadly, your 'policy' is to only help dogs from shelters in your area. I have considered taking her to a shelter and dropping her off just for the possibility she might end up with you. I'm sure you do amazing work, but your policy of only helping shelter dogs is sad. You could raise a LOT of money by helping people like me. Instead, my dog is facing euthanasia.

We love Old Friends Seniot Dog Sanctuary. We are guardians to one of their wonderful senior dogs. She is 15 yrs old and totally bonded with my 16 yr old child. They have been so good for each other.

I have volunteered since July 2022. Delighted to accompany my boyfriend on a tour…he lives in North Carolina. Of course he believes in OFSDS’s mission and has become an annual donor. We LOVE our Senior Dogs!

I've never been here, but I donate frequently because of the work they do. They care for sweet creatures few others care about, and that's a beautiful thing. I have a 17 year old doggy myself, so I know how hard it is. Bless them!

Facility is amazing and the tour leader was so kind and obviously cares about dogs. I learned a lot about the history of the organization. Got to pet lots of old friends! Keep up the good work!

Such an incredible facility and our tour guide Sally was so sweet and accommodating. We missed our scheduled tour time due to crazy i40 traffic but she got us in for a tour the following day. An amazing staff and truly and amazing place.
