I am writing to file a complaint against a mechanic who has provided me with a deeply unsatisfactory experience. I entrusted my vehicle to this mechanic with the expectation that it would be returned to me fully operational. However, not only was the mechanic unable to provide any diagnostic on my car, but they also failed to disclose their limitations in advance.
After this initial disappointment, I had no choice but to take my car to a dealership mechanic. To my dismay, they discovered multiple problems that needed urgent repairs. It was clear to me that the previous mechanic had been dishonest and had charged me for services they were incapable of providing.
A truly honest and reputable mechanic would have communicated their limitations and lack of equipment from the beginning, ensuring that I had realistic expectations for the outcome. Instead, this mechanic not only wasted my time and money but also displayed a complete lack of integrity by charging for services they were unable to deliver.
I believe this mechanic's actions are not only unethical but also fraudulent, as they knowingly charged for services they could not provide. I request that you investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action against this mechanic to prevent them from taking advantage of other unsuspecting customers.
I appreciate your attention to this matter and trust that the Better Business Bureau will work towards resolving this issue and holding the mechanic accountable for their dishonest and crooked practices.

Jerry runs the most amazing garage. My little GTI was treated like an AMG Merc. I can't recommend European Motorworks higher!

2017 VW Beetle Convertible. I goofed and un-torqued a motor mount bolt on my wife's beloved Beetle. I stopped what I was doing and took it right to this mechanic. He could have said anything. Could have charged me anything. Could have told me I needed $$$ to repair. Instead he listened to what I told him. Looked at it. Saw what I told him was wrong. And re-torqued the bolt that needed it. It is so rare to find an honest mechanic these days. Charged me 1/2 hr. labor and was able to fix it within 30 minutes while I waited. So, he has us for customers now. He works on all European brands, BMW, Audi, VW, and more. Staff was polite and efficient. Place was clean and comfortable.

Shop serviced my Audi A6 TDI the day before I left for a two-week trip to Maine. A special oil and German filter completed their job and I returned home. The following morning enroute on my 11 hour journey my oil filter warning light illuminated outside Crossville. It was my good fortune at 0730 on a Friday morning to find a maintenance shop open that kindly took the car in for inspection ahead of other customers ahead of me. They discovered that the oil filter had been incorrectly installed so that the o-ring seal did not seal properly. Finding that the EM oil installed the night before was not available they changed both the oil and fuel filter and cleaned the engine compartment thoroughly. They then wrote a detailed report of their findings and provided a photo of the faulty oil filter seal.Upon return to EM following my trip, I presented the bill expecting reimbursement plus a free oil change from EM when next due. They agreed to pay the shop costs but angrily refused to provide a free future service using their German oil and filter despite the fact that they caused the incident with their incorrect instillation. The owner (?) was belligerent, and refused to discuss the issue to my satisfaction. He walked out refusing to discuss the issue further.I felt that six liters of oil and filter was a minimal cost to EM rather than losing thousands of dollars in future business from this customer.

Had my Audi A6 TDI serviced with an oil change the day before leaving for Maine, a two-day drive. Leaving early the following morning we set off on our journey. Outside Crossville my oil low level light illuminated. I pull off and searched for a maintenance shop. They found the oil filter O ring was improperly seated and that oil was indeed leaking. Not knowing the unique oil used by EM, they installed a fresh change of oil. Pictures were taken and a full report was presented with my bill.I reported the problem to EM and was told upon my return to Nashville to give them the details for reimbursement. Bill and pictures in hand I presented my case to EM's owner(?). He agreed to pay for the Crossville oil change but refused to offer a free oil change with the special oil and filter that had been in my car for 12 hours before it leaked out. He blamed me for changing the oil instead of topping it up. The Crossville shop did not have his oil or a German oil filter. On top of adding 3 hours to my 11-hour trip, he was unresponsive to my arguments, very short with me, and walked out on resolving the situation. This will be my last visit to European Motorjerk. They didn't stand by their work and were extremely rude.

I came to Jerry over a year ago with my 2020 VW GTI to install a Unitronic Stage 1+ ECU, Stage 1 TCU, turbo inlet valve, intercooler, charge pipes, and intake. With more than 25,000 hard driven miles on the car I had to sing this amazing shop’s praises! They do incredible long lasting work and I could not be happier! I’m absolutely blown away with the great prices, integrity, and support from European Motorworks! Thank you guys and I’ll be back soon for Stage 2, downpipe, and exhaust.

I have had many experiences with Jerry & his team on all of our European vehicles. They are honest and trustworthy, and the price is beyond reasonable when you know the work is going to be correct.

I recently moved here from California, (Yes, I'm a CaliFleerer), and I brought my 2003 C240 (Base Model) with me...she has 245K+ on the clock. She had an issue and went into the "Limp Home" mode. Not knowing any place here that works on Mercedes, I did a Google search and European Motorworks popped up..read the reviews, and decided to give them a try. I was more than impressed with European Motorworks...started off with the office manager, pleasant and professional. This carried through to the service technician / service advisor..and the office dog !!! They were able to quickly diagnose the problem, had it fixed, and running GREAT within 48 hours. AWESOME SERVICE! My Mercedes has found a "repair station" !!! No need to look anywhere else here in Mount Juliet !!!!

Place I'd the best! I drive 35 mins for an oil change or any repairs. There honest do great work and turn the car around fast. If you drive a European car this is where you should be taking it.

Two sides to every story. Mine is that I took my 335i to Jerry for electrical troubleshooting. And the car was picked up in worse condition than when dropped off. 1.)Broken trunk actuator. 2.) trunk will not shut. Attempted to resolve the issue with Jerry the owner. He immediately went on the defensive. Saying… well trunk latches go bad all of the time. BS… both were in fine working condition when the car was dropped off.Service: Electrical repair
