Meat is decent. So far I've had the maple sticks and Tex Mex sticks, along with the smoked sausage. I would pass on the Tex Mex as I thought that was horrible, but the Maple and the Smoked are good. I'm unsure though how you can walk in with 26 lbs of meat and leave with 26 lbs of meat after fat is added, so I feel like maybe they're skimming meat off the top. The staff was friendly though and prices are probably a bit higher than they should be in my opinion. Seems to be just under $8 a lb. To process so gets pretty pricey. Overall I'd use them again, I'd just stick with certain things I like rather than try new stuff.

I have had their summer sausage, breakfast sausage, and burger from buddies that took deer there. It was honestly the best I’ve ever had and I’ve tried at least a dozen different processors around the country. I just dropped off a buck for my son and a buck that I shot so I’m pretty excited about filling the freezer now! The staff is awesome and you can tell they love what they do and want to take care of the customer.

Do not use Burris. I dropped off a 120 pound buck and they only gave me 20 pounds of meat. Four days later I dropped off a 150 pound buck and only got 40 pounds. I called and asked if there was a mix up or just an honest mistake and the blonde woman who works the front desk immediately gave me an attitude and made lame excuses. She then handed the phone to her husband, the one who does the actual processing, and he had the same attitude. This is theft. Do not use these crooks.

The people are fairly nice. But being nice to the customer does not excuse them being thieves. I took a doe and a buck to them last year. Only got back 3 small bags of meat. I took a doe this year and only got 1 bag of meat. Thy keep over half of the meat and they charge 125 f a doe this year and more for bucks. At theses prices u would think u would get all of your deer meat. I have processes many deer my self and know about how much meat is a deer. So I will not get them to process another one for me.

They ripped me off 2 times. I turned 48 lbs for burger. She said it weighed 30 lbs. The next time i weighed 13.5 lbs. She said it weighed 12lbs. I weighed it on 2 different scales b4 i ever took it there. When i picked it up guess what it weighed.... 12 lbs...and thats with fat they added scammers!!

My wife killed her first deer/ buck ever last weekend and was so excited! We took the deer to Burris/ Glens to have him processed. We told them we wanted the head so we could do a European mount. I went to pick up the meat and head today and they couldn’t find the head!! They came back out a few minutes later holding a set of antlers!?! My wife is beyond upset that she doesn’t get her trophy! We still get the meat but come on... I can’t believe Burris deer processing messed this up! I will never go back! Absolutely pathetic!!

If you need a deer processed, I highly recommend this place. The people are awesome, their seasoning is spot on, and their prices are reasonable. For you hunters out there, enjoying the food that you bring to the table is important. IF the seasoning is not right for the sausages, why bother wasting your money and time. The breakfast sausage is very good and the hot is just that, hot. The jalapeño and cheese summer sausage is outstanding, don't pass it up. This place definitely gets five stars from me and they will see me again next season.
