MORRISTOWN FORD DEALER-BEWARE CROOKS AND LIARS!!! 1112 W MORRIS BLVD, MORRISTOWN, TN 37813 423-586-5520 PRT. 1 BEWARE CROOKS AND LIARS!!! We were lied to and on, stolen from $150.00 for a "diagnostic test" (due to andrew lying & refusing to do have the rear defrost repaired under the warranty by a vendor that dealership uses to replace windows onsite; "any diagnostic testing would not be covered by warranty, only if the repairs for the testing are done would the test be covered by the warranty", we were NOT informed of this at all before & because it was made clear to them what was already known about the rear defrost, they knew it wasn't needed (they were told what the issue was at least twice before the appointment for that and other warranty work RECORDED CALL) service manager andrew refused to fix the warrantied item no explanation offered, he lied about not being able to fix the defrost in the rear window (only way to fix it is by replacing the window since the rear defrost is embedded in the window AND covered under warranty); they stole $100.00 additional from us by refusing to fix the covered item forcing us to take the vehicle somewhere else to be repaired causing another deductible, he lied about the $150 charge verbally & on the invoice (verified with the warranty company and clearly outlined by the warranty in writing); andrew lied about the General Manager greg layman not being in the building (even though we told him we just spoke to him; he refused to call him, we had to insist he reach out to the Greg Laymen to resolve this bogus charge and refusal to do the warranty work. Andrew tried to keep my sons' written warranty he provided when he bought his truck in; andrew went out of his way to tell us he was holding his truck unless fraudulent charge for a "diagnostic test on the rear defrost" was paid. The General Manager greg layman was clearly made aware of what was happening when I spoke to him; while my son was at the dealership trying to fairly & respectfully resolve this fraud & how he was being treated. During the second amicable conversation we had with greg layman about pointing out the obvious; he stated "they could have done the repair via a vendor and they do have one they use"; even though andrew the service manager said & wrote in the warranty company notes "they couldn't repair the issue and they were sending the customer to a glass shop". To add further insult; when greg layman was speaking with me on the phone he "was on my side" when he finally went to the service area & saw my son his entire attitude changed and then refused to correct the fraudulent charge for the "diagnostic test" and/or admit andrews' choices of not offering to use an onsite vendor to repair the warrantied issue, for not being upfront and honest about why was he trying to charge a fee that would be covered if they did the repair as they were able to; that he lied about not being told the rear window had to be replaced because of the defrost being built in (shouldn't have had to tell him that) & that we already had shared information the window NOT the wires, switch or module was the problem, & that he refused to enlist the help of the general manager as the customer initially requested was not our issue to have to deal with. The only thing different about what greg layman knew from our phone call with him til seeing my son in person was just that, HE SAW MY SON IN PERSON and from that point on refused to correct his service managers foolishness. ON TOP OF EVERYTHING, after my son was forced to pay the fraudulent charges to get his truck & leave the dealership (my 81 year old wheelchair bond mother was stuck in the parking lot waiting for my son the entire time); andrew called my sons' phone to threaten and try to intimidate him by saying "he & the general manager are telling him if any of the charges are disputed or don't go through, they are charging that as refusal of

I would give 0 stars if I could. The managers are incredibly rude. They seem to believe that women are stupid. I went to them to see about buying my dream car. I did my research and offered the fair market price. I was told that Kelly Blue Book lies and they would not accept anything other than the full price of the vehicle. When I pointed out that it was well over the fair market price I was basically told to go screw myself and treated like I was an idiot. Stay away!

Went online and made an appointment (I thought) for oil change and look at another issue the explorer was having. Turns out that even though you can select a specific date and time for your "appointment" doesn't mean you actually have an appointment. I failed to read the fine print at the bottom of the page that someone would call you within 48 hours to actually make the appointment. Granted I didn't see the fine print but why do you have a site labeled "Service Appointment" with positions to enter all your and your car's information, select the date, and the time and not think (like any other of appointment site I've ever used) you had actually made an appointment. Spoke with the service manager and got the "we are working on it!" That i doubt. I really thought going to a dealership in the country would be more customer service friendly than the big city, but I was wrong. I told him they need to take that site down and simply state "Call for a service appointment." Poor.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Not only did they wrongfully charge us warranty fees by claiming you had to pay the warranty deductible for each repair done rather than the one-time fee for the entire visit (we had multiple problems needing looked at), but they created a new problem each time our truck was brought in. Unless you enjoy being lied to about your warranty, spending money you don't need to spend, and having incompetent mechanics work on your vehicle that will create more issues for you, look elsewhere. They will never have our business again. Their "mistakes" aren't just expensive, they're dangerous. Thankfully no one was hurt in our case. There's a reason why their service department has awful reviews. Shame on them.
