The technicians at Morristown Utilities’ FiberNet service are fantastic! They are always eager to help, and they never quit until the problem is resolved. I’m glad I subscribe to Morristown Utilities’ FiberNet. It’s a great value.

When Fibernet first came to Morristown I signed up right away. I remained a customer for many years but began to get frustrated by the Internet freezes, and because I thought I could get more channels for less money somewhere else. I switched and discovered that the new company had just as many Internet freezes as Fibernet. What looked like a sweet deal at first, turned sour in a few years when the price kept going up. I also didn’t like that the television picture would constantly break up into green and black pixels on certain channels. I realized I was better off with Fibernet. I've switched back and I'm very happy. I recommend Fibernet for Internet and Television.

I run a 24/7 business. I cannot fathom having a customer service line that doesn't answer. What's the point? You need to do better, much better. The Internet is no different than a phone line. We expect 99.9% coverage with excellent customer care.UPDATE: It appears they have addressed operational and technical issues. Vastly improvedUPDATE: More disappointment on 3/6/20. Downtime during our business hours. I am looking at installing F2C which is Failover-to-Cellular as a backup solution. It will require additional/new router and a monthly subscription but has become a necessity.UPDATE: It's been a year and no major outages. Thank you for improving QoS.

Now don’t get me wrong the service isn’t as reliable as it should be but I’m giving it three stars bc the service does its job my internet is either fast or down soooooo as far as I’m concerned if they fix the most recent outage they’re all good in my book

The absolute worst internet money can be wasted on. Not a day goes by that there are not outages, every single weekend we are guaranteed to be without internet for periods of time .

Outages have become the norm. Poor communication on why these outages are occuring. I think it's time to make the switch

Fibernet was an internet service that I was once able to trust. The service they would provide was a steal for the price. If you tried to get a better price back a few years ago, you would be fooling yourself. As the ISP industry has grown and opportunities have come up, now there are several ISPs to choose from. Sadly, Fibernet has aged poorly over the past few years. When the service is working, it works wonders. I get the speeds I am supposed to get and even sometimes I get faster speeds than I pay for. But when the service is not working, which is shamefully more often than not now, it is absolutely horrid. When Fibernet goes down, it doesn't just go down for a little while. If it goes down, it stays down and for a long time.I would assume all the problems that come from this are either from maintenance or just screwing up. I'm sure they perform a lot of maintenance, and in those times it is to be expected to go down at least for a bit. But they don't even warn when maintenance is going to happen, they just do it and when they inevitably fail at it, it ends up staying down for a while.I cannot say I understand how they still get any customers considering the large amount of downtime that occurs from this ISP. Businesses need reliable internet to make sure they can perform as needed. All time is money, and every second it is down means the company is losing potential profit. Perhaps spending a little more money for more effective staff or hardware would be a good idea?If you are a consumer, either residential or office, do NOT even think about using Fibernet as a reliable source. If you like flaky and unstable internet that you aren't sure that you are even going to have that day, then Fibernet is for you. Otherwise, Look towards a different ISP, even if the price seems tempting.

Fibernet has amazing speeds to offer, extremely low prices even for the speeds for Morristown. BUT, it’s a gamble and a reliability issue. The internet has some unexpected shut offs. Especially on some weekends, or even like now, it’s been on and off for the past 3-4 days. It’s probably best to have a back up internet service provider whenever this happens, or just officially switch. They don’t even do updates on the situation anymore via their Facebook page.

Pros: it's fast 1gig up and down.Cons: it's ALWAYS down. Expect it to be down 3 days a month at the least. I haven't had a month without a problemPrice: $100 for 1 gb up and down.Comparison: When I lived in Knoxville, AT&T one Gb up and down fiber went down one time and was up in 2 hours, it was the only problem I ever had with them. Their Price was $80 dollar. Hopefully AT&T brings their service to Morristown, I'm switching no questions asked. Conclusion: The speed is extremely fast and consistent, but the service is unreliable.Update: internet was down 6/23-26 and is currently down again on 7/1

Good customer service as this location. Overall, the internet speeds are slower than when we lived in TN and the prices are the same. We need more competition so they increase their minimum speeds (currently 100mb down and 10mb up) as they have a history of reacting vs being proactive.

I've never had problems with fibernet until lately. They have always been the best. But I'm paying for services that I'm not receiving. I can't check my email, pay my Bill's, watch Netflix or check my Facebook. My son cant play his games. Ugh!!
