He is known as one of the best Veterinarians in town! He is friendly, yet serious about his profession. Once he sees your animal, he finds the problem, prescribes medication, and expects you to follow through with what he says to help your animal become better. He loves his “furball” patients and puts forth his best efforts in helping your pet. His staff is also caring, helpful, and very friendly! They’re all good people! They live up to their reputation! My dog loves her visits here!

I now agree with the other reviews on the clown! He definitely doesn't care about animals it's all about the money, he is the kind of human that the bad reviews won't affect him. He wanted to talk about the lottery instead of attending to Abby and because of him she lost her life and her family lost part of their heart. On top of all that he had to have $500 up front and 828.00 to be able to pick up her body. So I paid him to let my friend's dog die alone.

It takes special people to treat animals. We don’t speak their language, and they likely try to mask anything wrong until they’re on death’s door. Sadly. We haven’t been going here long. It’s difficult to find a place to connect and trust, I feel. Found it. He’s a genteel physician, cares about the welfare of his patients and their persons. So many are just into money-making. That’s not his thing. It’s saving lives, with regard to suffering, and keeping pets safe and healthy. He has a wonderful staff to aid him in this. I’m ever thankful.. so are my pets.

People there and the vet is very nice. They care about animals. I feel safe with them with my cat. They did a great job on grooming and took care of her medical needs.

Dr. Hewitt has been our vet for over 14 years. He and his staff are unbelievable compassionate, and handle all situations with empathy. Very knowledgeable. I highly recommend them for all your 4 legged family members.For over 40 years I have used the standard of the "True Gentleman" to measure how well individuals perform. Dr. Hewitt has taken care of our 4 legged family members for over 14 years. Dr. Hewitt and his staff are the best veterinarian care we have seen. They are understanding and caring. They spend the time with you explaining what is going on with your pet, and answering all your questions. In the 14 years that they have been our vet, they have been right there with us, during the hard times and good times. Unbelievable compassion and empathy, form the entire staff. When we lived in Morristown, Hewitt was and still is our favorite veterinarian we have used since. We have lived in several states and have a good vet in Arizona, but Hewitt was the best! For example, one day we were taking our newly adopted puppy for his shots. We found a kitten that was about 3 weeks old laying on the side of the road in a massive thunderstorm. She looked like she was hours from dying. So we picked her up and took her with to the vet. Mr. Hewitt diagnosed her with ringworm, severe dehydration, and pneumonia. We explained the scenario, and he understood we were trying to save an unplanned companion. He only charged us what he paid for the medication and no doctor visit fees for the kitten (on all follow ups!). Now I never would expect that again, or expect that on any other cases, but it showed who he is as a person. In the age of vets that are profit driven by corporations, he really cares and loves animals and their owners! He is an amazing vet that we wish we could have taken with us when we moved. I recommend him to everyone who needs a vet that actually cares and doesn't price gouge like many corporate vets out there!
