Their quality of work on my Lexus RC 350 F Sport was excellent, They are easy to work with and have always gone above and beyond to ensure my 100% satisfaction. If you don’t have a big job for them to do, don’t expect to be prioritized or even treated equal. Brought my Jeep Cherokee in for an estimate and just to be looked at. It had some front end damage that could be fixed in a day or two. They scheduled me to drop it off Feb 7 2022 and told me the longest they’d have it would be 3-4 weeks it is now March 22 2022. All they have to do is straighten the front forks of the frame and weld a panel in. I was going to do everything else as I am a mechanic, I just don’t have access to a frame jig or sheet metal tools/welder. It’s been almost 2 months and they keep making the excuse that parts are unavailable for cars they currently have in the shop. I work in a shop and I understand that completely. However, when we can’t get parts we set the other projects aside and work on ones that we can. They don’t have to buy any parts for my vehicle what so ever as I have sourced and bought all the parts for them, all they had to do was straighten the frame and make sure the new body panels I bought fit. Anyways, I was scheduled to get work done in a window and it just seems like they are throwing that schedule out the window for bigger jobs. They keep telling me “We should get to it soon” or “I think we can get started in the next two weeks” and this has gone on for nearly two months. I understand that small work doesn’t pay as much as cars that come in nearly totaled but that doesn’t mean I should be treated differently or set aside. Their communication has been terrible and that haven’t kept me updated nor have they called me once to discuss anything. I’ve been calling them about once a week maybe to get updates. Terrible experience honestly. It’s seems like they do good work however, it’s just getting them to do that work.

Absolutely great work and professional staff. Michael was great to work with and he and his crew went above and beyond what was agreed on. I had my 2002 Toyota Tundra repainted and the frame spray linered. This truck has been like a member of the family and it outlasted the paint job. Distinct Finishes took great care of it and didn’t miss a detail. They even detailed the inside of my truck which was disgusting. God bless these folks. I highly recommend.

BE AWARE! DISTINCT FINISHES, owner MICHAEL HODGES, refuses to return my calls after the paint is falling off of my van less than 2 months after DISTINCT FINISHES painted it. DISTINCT FINISHES painted my van the first week of January, 2021. In less than 2 months, the paint was rapidly falling off in various and relatively large areas! MICHAEL HODGES, DISTINCT FINISHES, Morristown, Tennessee, has refused to respond to my request that they contact me. Since DISTINCT FINISHES, owner MICHAEL HODGES, refuses to return my calls or contact me, I found it necessary to acquire professional assessments from collision/body shops regarding my specific situation. Those statements declare, in fact, that "the surface of my van was not prepared correctly, before it was painted", and/or that "it appears that the metal and or fiberglass surfaces were not prepared correctly" before painting. That is why the paint is rapidly falling off. Apart from the fact that the paint and bed liner is peeling off, another issue should be addressed in this forum: DISTINCT FINISHES blatantly refused to follow my painting instructions in the first place. I specifically informed MICHAEL HODGES, the owner of DISTINCT FINISHES, where to paint and not to paint the vehicle. However, he ignored my instructions and painted where I told them not to and they didn't paint where I asked them to paint. After speaking with the owner, MICHAEL HODGES, about my dis-satisfaction, MICHAEL HODGES stated that he would repaint that specific area and we scheduled the appointment. However, when I came for that appointment, he refused, stating that he had, "already given" me "a good deal". To make matters worse, as stated and deserves to be repeated, "the paint started peeling off less than 2 months after they painted it"! DISTINCT FINISHES refuses to contact me. I've contacted DISTINCT FINISHES on March 7th, via their website, via certified mail on March 10th, and via their receptionist on March 12th. Today makes 25 days since I first contacted them. They have not responded. I've given DISTINCT FINISHES ample time to respond in order to resolve this very unpleasant situation. I affirmed to them that if they continue to ignore my request for them to contact me, I would begin using social media in order to warn the general public about their unethical business practices in Morristown, TN. Why hasn't MICHAEL HODGES, the owner of Dstinct Finishes responded to my numerous contacts? Could it be because I live in another state and was only passing through Morristown back in January? Could it be that MICHAEL HODGES, DISTINCT FINISHES thought he would never see me again? Photos of the paint and bed liner, applied by DISTINCT FINISHES, peeling off of my vehicle are forthcoming. You can only imagine how upset this situation can cause an individual. If this must go to court, I hope the judge will take the mental anguish into consideration.

Highly recommend this business if you need any body work done on your vehicle. Prices were very reasonable work done when promised, staff was super nice, made my car look like new. Even vacuumed itt for me.. Exceptional Service!
