I had a different shop mount and (supposed to balance tires) but had bad vibrations at speed (not going to say what speed). So I took my mustang to compton's for rebalance and some other work installing some performance equipment. ALL GOOD! VIBRATION GONE!
I highly recommend this shop and will be going back for some other work. Keep the shiny side up

If you want to cheated and overcharged I highly recommend going to Comptons/Uhaul! I rented a truck and I made sure to replace the gas. He talked me into paying with my debit card and I realize now it was so he could tack on extra charges. BTW! I always try to put an honest and detailed review. I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone!

AC wasn't working for me. Called around and everyone told me it'd be about an hour and 75$ to diagnose the car. That means to recharge it and put dye in it. Additional time and money would then be spent searching for a leak and fixing it.Well, I was starting to get nervous bc I had a long trip ahead and couldn't spend all day running tests that may be inconclusive. Then I called this place and they offered to take a quick look at it.The honest people who work here only took only a few minutes with the vehicle to let me know what's wrong and only charged me 20$ for their services. They were even gonna put dye in it and recharge it for the trip, that way, I could make it home, and by that time, I'd know if there was a leak - see, they weren't trying to keep me if I could still make it home safe and on time. Sure enough, I just am not used to southern heat and should just stick to recirculating the air in my car. They didn't belittle me about it, either.Definitely recommend if you're looking for fast, affordable, and genuine service.

Compton's was recommended to me years ago by a friend. I am just as thrilled with them today as I was the first day. As a matter of fact I will be getting 4 tires an oil change and a headlight replaced today. I don't care what my car or truck needs I would not consider going anywhere else. Thank you for your wonderful service all these years! If i could give you a million stars I would!

My serpentine belt broke on my way home from college (which is a 5 hour drive). The guys here were so sweet and replaced it in an hour and had me back on the road.

Inquired about having some exhaust work done. I told them there was an exhaust leak at the manifold. Dropped the truck off and waited a couple days for an update. Decided to call and check in, but was told they couldn't find a leak at the manifold. I urged them to take it for a road test, to confirm. They did recommend a new muffler and pipe, to which I approved. Another couple of days passed and I still hadn't heard back on my latest inquiry, so I called again. I was told there was no leak at the manifold and that they were waiting on an oxygen sensor that had to be ordered. I hadn't approved an additional $100 for the sensor prior to them ordering it, but if it had to be done I wasn't going to make it an issue; these things happen.A few days later, I was informed that the truck was finished up. I was also told that they finally located the exhaust manifold leak that I had originally brought to their attention (& the primary reason for me bringing the truck to them). At this point, I was a bit nervous to have them continue working on the vehicle, since it took over a week to confirm a fairly obvious exhaust leak. Opted to look elsewhere for the remaining work needed.I want to re-iterate that the gentleman I spoke with was very nice. Also, the price for the work they did was fair. From what I can tell, the work they did perform is of good quality. Communication was ultimately where the ball was dropped, outside of the diagnosis troubles.
