If you use the Millington Tennessee Post Office to ship packages with prepaid, printed labels, make sure you do everything listed below. Your packages may disappear and never be seen again.*Always make sure the package gets scanned into their system before you leave.*Get a receipt verifying it was received by the Post Office.*Always sign up for informed delivery so you get updates on the location of your shipment.*Always hand the package across the counter in the Customer Service area and witness the scan.*If an employee instructs you to leave your package by the large door in the postal box area, "and they will get it and take it to the back room." DONT DO IT! Even if you wait for them to come and open the door and pick your package up and take it behind the door. You may think your package is in good hands, but it isn't.*Insure your shipment for the replacement value of the contents. Don't have false hope and think everything will go well and the package will make it to its destination.*Take pictures of the contents before boxing them up, along with pictures of the box and the label. You will need them.*Don't think you will get any assistance from the facility once you realize your package has vaporized and entered a new dimension, never to be seen again. You may get a call from them. However, that's all you will get besides being told not to yell at them or that they will end the call. You weren't yelling at anyone. You had simply asked them to clarify their conflicting statements on what their policy and protocals are and why they were not followed. To them, that's being combative and not allowed and a reason to fabricate a scenario to hang up on you. Instead you inform them you look forward to the outcome of their investigation and will be awaiting their response once they have answers to the whereabouts of your package. After that Nyou must navigate a bunch of red tape because, if your package was never scanned, it doesn't exist therefore you can't file a complaint, file a claim, start a trace on your package, report missing or lost mail, amongst all other recourse you would normally think is in place for you.And finally, after 7 days go ahead and contact the OIG and file a report. Then contact the recipient of your package and inform them of the bad news, that the items you were sending them are forever lost.

Extremely rude and inept staff. Unfortunately I know posting this review will do literally nothing and nobody will respond or rectify the situation, but writing it here in a public space for all to see MIGHT deter others in the future !!!Went here this morning to submit my passport. I had done everything correct and made an appointment online and verified my identity, printed the forms , etc and assumed everything was all good. I went to check my email and texts before I walked in at 1040 for a confirmation but found it odd I didn’t have one. Again , assumed maybe they just didn’t send them but everything on the USPS website seemed correct and verified when I made the appointment for 11 am. I arrived early just in case. The first person asked me my name ,seemed confused , looked again and simply said ‘She will be right out ‘. Waited ten minutes and another worker came from the back and asked if I was there for a passport and I told her I was. She asked my name twice and said ‘ you aren’t on my list You sure ?’ And I told her yes. She said ‘ check your confirmation for the time and date ‘ as if I didn’t know the time and location. I told her I didn’t have any texts or emails and she rudely said ‘ then you don’t have an appointment!’ I asked her if I should just make another and she snapped ‘yea!’ I understand systems glitch and maybe it never fully confirmed. But a little kindness was too much to ask I guess ! I asked her if she had ANYTHING today and she said ‘ no I don’t. We’re very busy’. Ok then. Wow. Totally nasty. Here’s the worst part - THIS OFFICE has walk in passport hours Tues to Thurs from 10 am to 11. RIGHT when I I was there. So not only was she rude as she could be. But she lied right to my face too!Ma’am , you work with the public. There is absolutely no reason to be hateful and disgusting! It’s free to be nice and helpful just in case you don’t know !!

The worst service. So far I have been waiting in line for half an hour. The line is not even moving. The smart people behind me are leaving. So far five customers have left.

Went inside to Millington Post Office this morning 12/21. The lady waiting on us would hardly speak. Ask if she had tape. Answer No. She continued to ring me up. Asked what I am to do after I said there is none to purchase. She pointed at the one roll above her head. I reached for it. Paid for it and she turned around. I had to ask if that was all and she said yes. She seemed to not use her words on purpose making it as hard as possible for a customer to try to figure out what we are supposed to do. Definitely needed to learn how to use her words. Maybe repeating Kindergarten would help.

I am posting about a pkg that had a gift card in it but it was never received. The carrier stated through Amazon that it was left in the mailbox but no pkg. What has happened to honesty. Do we still have Postal Inspectors working. It is so sad. I know I am not the only one this has happened too.

This is the best Customer Service oriented post office I've ever experienced. Twice I've had questions about delivery statuses on packages and called this post office for clarification. The postal worker actually called the postman to ask him about the packages. I don't see how you can ask for more great service than that. I just moved to Millington and I am more than pleased with the efficiency of this office. Everyone I've interacted with at this post office has been so friendly.

Customer service was outstanding, employee at the middle counter was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Compared to the other nearby locations. There was a little line but it moved fairly quickly. Both ladies was were very polite, thanks for the awesome customer service.

I went to the post office today and was greeted with a smile from the clerks. I was already having a bad day but the staff at the Millington office was so polite, helpful and a complete blessing, especially the young lady that assisted me. I apologize for my behavior at the start but thanks for a better day! ??

Have been waiting for a package since Saturday. When I view the tracking it’s should have been delivered on Saturday but I still haven’t received it, and I’ve been getting my regular mail. Look up tracking it’s been showing out for delivery since Saturday. They don’t scan their packages or deliver them on time. Feels like third world country delivery

Our mail lady retired several months ago and our rural mail has been all over the place every since. Though our cluster of mailboxes are clearly marked inside and out and we have address markers in our yard we are CONSTANTLY searching daily for our mail and packages that are being misdelivered. We signed up for informed delivery hoping to better track it, yet, As seniors, and with disabled neighbors we are forced to walk from home to home to try and track down where our mail is being left

Walked out this morning to a soggy Amazon package laying in the driveway. I have a covered front porch and the front of my house is lit. Height of laziness. I wish Amazon wouldn’t use them. I try to never use them.
