If I could go back in time and tell myself one thing: it'd be to go to the Millington meat market sooner in my life. I moved out here a few years ago and was satisfied with grocery store protein. But a few months ago I found myself some time to kill and wandered on in to see what they had. Let me just say I will NEVER go back to kroger meats. Millington meat market has better prices, smiling faces behind the counter, and reminds me of what shopping use to be like. Before self checkouts and the ensuing dehumanization

I’ve been getting filets from here and they have been so tender and flavorful that I recommended it to friends. Then, I bought 2 on Wednesday and they were horrible. Very tough, and no beef flavor. I cook mine medium rare so they weren’t overcooked so that’s not the reason for the toughness. It was almost like a sirloin wrapped to look like a filet.So yeah, two stars for this purchase.
