Amazing place! They all will truly take amazing care of your babies! I highly recommend them! Especially if you have giant breeds like me. I have 4 great danes and they took care of my babies like they were their own! 10/10 recommend!

The young man that helped me has dark hair and facial hair, he was very rude. And need to learn how to be nicer to your customers. Nobody should go up to that place if your staff is disrespectful. And need to learn to control their attitude.

This pet hospital gave us horrible advice that not only would have made us pay thousands of dollars for no reason but also put our cat’s health in danger. Our cat started acting lethargic so we took him in immediately. They kept him overnight for 4 days to observe him because he had crystals and needed a catheter. When we got him back, the staff was very friendly. They seemed knowledgeable and answered all of our questions and gave us medicine and expensive special food they said he needed. We started with the new diet immediately and our baby wouldn’t eat it. He is picky, so we thought he just didn’t like it. I called and told the vet and she insisted that if he didn’t eat the food it was because he was in pain and needed the expensive surgery. She also suggested putting tuna in his food so he would eat it, without warning me that the mercury can be bad for cats! I didn’t find that out until days after! So, we went to another vet to check him out. They said he seemed perfectly fine! And it turns out that the food the Millington animal hospital gave us for our cats urinary problems, was actually for kidney care! They gave us the wrong prescription diet and tried to push a surgery that our cat didn’t even need!

Groomer, The worst experience ever! My Yorkshire Terrier was sheared, a small cut under eye, and even sheared ears, legs and tail! I did not recognize him! For the first time I took my Yorkie to Millington Hospital groomer, Dana. I asked for a short cut and showed her a picture of what I wanted. She mentioned a summer cut without explaining the details or providing a picture of what that looked like. However, when I spoke with Dana, implied that he had not been groomed in over a year and said that he was too mated and that's only cut she could do! This was not true! I wanted to try there because the Vet had recommended her, Never again! I verbally told her it was my first time there. His signature Yorkie look was gone with this groomer! When I picked him up I didn't recognize him!

It's amusing to me that they mislead my 21 year old son with aspergers syndrome by leading him on into believing that he would get the kennel tech position that I called inquiring about. #1 he has aspergers which is a form of autism so He matters too and the government pays out to employers that have employees with autism or disabilities. #2 they are extremely unprofessional I am sad for my son who is perfectly capable of being the best employee ever he is hard working he is self driven and he is committed it's definitely your loss for not hiring him

I just typed a book. Long story short just DO NOT USE MILLINGTON ANIMAL HOSPITAL!!!!!If you love you animals NEVER use Millington Animal Hospital!!!!! They do not know what they are doing and just lie!!!! My poor dog has been in pain since Monday night.. Had I seen the bad reviews before hand I would’ve taken him somewhere further! All the other vets near us said they were full for because of the holidays and wouldn’t be able to see him til next week. I called Millington Animal Hospital and explained what was going on with him (the vet tech could here him scream through the phone) She told me to hurry up and bring him in that they could help him. He is still in screaming pain. They prescribed him Galliprant and an antibiotic (she said his prostate is a little swollen). I am pretty sure he has a slipped disk in his neck based off the way he is acting.I called them back 5 times Wednesday telling them he is still in pain and asking for advice. I called and spoke with the lady vet tech there (not Julie) I asked her if her could have IVDD and told her that I had researched and seen that his symptoms were aligning with IVDD and she said he probably does and to take him to get an CT or MRI at Memphis Veterinary Specialist in Cordova. She said that if I decided to take him she would give me a referral for him to be seen. Wednesday afternoon I called back up there because I was at petco looking for a heating bad and back brace. I came across CBD chews. I called back and spoke with a man there and he said the cbd is fine to give him with what they prescribed him. When I got home Wednesday I immediately gave him the cbd he was in bad pain. Right after I gave him the CBD I decided I was taking him to the ER at MVS. By the time we got there he was calm and the vet tech there told us that they’d have to wait 12 hours for the CBD to wear off before they could even do an exam. She said to take him home and put him on crate rest what Julie had told me to do before and give him the medicines they prescribed at Millington Animal Hospital. She also said to get a referral from them and get an appointment instead of coming through the ER.The CBD is not helping and he’s needing something stronger for pain as while he’s crated. So I call back to Millington Animal Hospital asking if they can also give him Gabapentin for pain along with what he’s prescribed and they are refusing to help him. Now the excuse is because there’s no vet there only vet techs. The excuse for not letting me come in with my dog was that her sister is in town for thanksgiving and can’t be around people (I’m seeing that was a lie now that she hasn’t BEEN letting people come in with their animals. The lady on the phone is telling me to take him to the ER and I explained to her that I took him there and they told me to come back to you for collaborative care since they are already treating him for his pain until they can get the referral in. She called MVS and they tell her there exact same thing they told me when I was there and then she goes on to tell me there’s nothing they can do and puts a rude guy (same one who said to use the cbd chews) on the phone to just be rude. I hung up in his face. I paid $340 for them to help my dog and they are refusing care. Instead of pretending like they could help they should’ve just told me to go to a different place from the very beginning.ALSO when Julie called me Tuesday to explain the X-ray over the phone she said that she could neuter him the very next day and that some people that have French bulldogs can’t afford the surgeries they need later on and that adoption is an option because I said I didn’t want him neutered til we solve the trauma going on with him now.I just can’t believe there are people out there like this that are supposed to be dedicated to helping, treating and loving animals but are seriously just out for money. She was rushing me to do 2 surgeries on my dog that have nothing to do with the pain he is experiencing right now because she wants the money!!!

I had a serious emergency with a cat that just needed antibiotics and got refused. Sent on my way without any help. It was the only vet open in my area and they had a cold enough heart to turn me away. I didn’t need anything but some antibiotics. That’s all I needed. But these cold hearted people wouldn’t even consider. I just needed 6 minutes max. NOBODY is booked up enough on a Saturday morning at 8am to not give an emergency 5 minutes to look at. What a crock of bologna. Absolutely garbage people. Inhumane to turn away an emergency like that because these folks are lazy and didn’t want to do anything. Policies this and policies that. LITERALLY ALL I NEEDED WAS 5 or 6 MINUTES and a prescription of antibiotics. Absolutely garbage. No explanation will justify this.

I have a dog who has become a danger to my family. He can not live a meaningful life as he can’t be around people or animals because he randomly snaps. This office is forcing him to live a miserable life by not ending his situation. People may end up hurt by this dog.

Millington Animal Hospital has been taking care of my family's pets since 2003, and we couldn't ask for better care. From the well-behaved pets of put past to our current bunch riddles with anxiety and behavior problems, they strive every day to give each pet the best care they possibly can, and I could never thank them enough for it. Thank you, Millington Animal Hospital. Thank you for every vaccine and neuter and groom and emergency you've done for us. For enduring every bite and scratch and bump. For still serving us no matter what. Thank you, each and every one of you. Millington wouldn't be Millington without you.

I took my dog here for a grooming appointment. They were done in less than an hour and he acted like they beat him to death and he smelled worse than when he went in. There’s also hundreds of post on social media of horror stories about this place. It looks sketch from the outside because it is, you also can’t even go into the building, they meet you at the door. Covid been over with so what y’all hiding?
