They say they know about alignment and it's a lie, they make an excuse to tell you that you have a thousand problems not to have the alignment done and they always charge you for a supposed analysis, if you can, go somewhere else, these guys don't know about mechanics.

Asked if they had time to do an alignment and they said yes. They called an hour later and said they couldn't do it as it was going to need upper lower ball joints tie rod ends and control arms $1400. I asked how they inspected the ball joints and they couldn't tell me. They then advised it would be $79 for computer diagnostic fee. But they didn't have to connect a computer to it. I asked about the hazardous materials fee and they advised they didn't know it was just on their computer.

The owner seems like a nice guy and is willing to help in a tough situation, but after my truck was sitting for 3 weeks and no one willing to return my calls or give updates of any kind, it was time to go elsewhere. Then, when I go to get my vehicle back, the battery is dead, a bolt is missing on passenger side of motor, and there are scratches in the paint where the technician was leaning over it to diagnose the engine issue. I am very much frustrated with the carelessness of everyone here after having a good experience a few years back before the new building was built. I will no longer be recommending Vestal.

I needed a blower motor replaced on my car, my air wasn't working. I went up there for a quote and they were able to get me in the next day. They got me in and had it ready within 2 hours and I thought all was great, the air was working great. Driving home I noticed my steering wheel wasn't aligned right, and later my slip indicator light came on and wouldn't go off. I went back up there and explained what it was doing, the guy told me they had to undo something with the steering column and it was probably just off a notch and shouldn't be dangerous but needed to be fixed. They weren't going to charge me (as they shouldn't because it was their fault)and I figured it was an honest mistake. Still, he never apologized for any inconvenience for me as I had to schedule to bring it up there again and missed a full days worth of work because it took all day this time. I pick up my car and thought all was good again, then noticed my steering wheel knocking when I made any slight movement. A couple of weeks later, the slip indicator light comes back on and won't go off. I should've taken it back up there and made them fix it, but at this point I don't want them touching my car. The only good thing I can say is how fast they got me in to fix my air and the air now runs good, but everything else has been a total inconvenience and now I have to take it somewhere else to fix the steering problem because I'm afraid of driving it.

I took my 2006 chevy silverado there to get the front end lined up. They did work on it said it was fixed coast $105 bucks. My truck had busted bushing it can not have the front end lined up in that condition
I would not recommend to have them work on your ride

As always I called vestal in a bind and they pulled me thru. I had a flat tire as I was on my way to get my oil changed. They swiftly helped me with the situation, gave me a very reasonable quote for a new set of tires, and had them put on within a timely matter. I was back on the road before noon.
They will continue to get my business!
And they are always super friendly!
&&& before trolls pick apart my review…they were only going to repair the tire or replace the single tire. I specifically requested a whole new set because I’m terrible about remembering which tire is which. I’d prefer them all to be uniform so I don’t have to remember which is which. I run a business also. I have too much to remember already.

Highly recommend this place. They were able to communicate efficiently and effectively through the process of installing a new engine in my truck in a timely manner while I couldn’t exactly be there in person to communicate deployed outside of the country. Also completed it within a timely manner at the exact time I was told it would take at a price I could agree with. Extremely satisfied with the outcome.

I made an appointment on 9/28/23 to get my vehicle fixed. After being told that they’re waiting for the dealer to give them the parts, I decided to call the dealer to confirm which was a lie they never ordered nor looked at my vehicle. On 10/11/23 they decided not to work on my vehicle at all. After giving me the run around and lying I was told that it’ll cost me $1500 to break my vehicle down. After 3 weeks of my car just sitting there they decided not to repair it. I’ve made an complaint with the BBB.

Sat at a dealership almost an hour before I decided to go somewhere else because they hadn't gotten my car in the shop yet. Drove to Milan and stopped in at Vestal Automotive to see when they could get my car in for an AC charge...a tech had my car in their shop within 5 minutes. No joke. Money well spent, I would definitely recommend this place for your maintenance needs over dealerships. Will definitely do business with Vestal Automotive again. They have a brand new, very nice shop too!
