The quality at this car wash was horrible. I had to clean my windows from the soap residue that did not want to come off. As I went through the car wash, the soap never rinsed off. Highly do not recommend this place! Never use again!!!! I

Patrice was a gem found at this location. She reminded me of how humanity can truly be kind just because… Truly a rare find. The location needs to upgrade their washing systems. I found them to not do the best. I had to wipe down and clean more than I wanted: Again Patrice and the rest of the staff are waiting for an upgrade so they can continue to make Poplar the diamond staff they truly want to be. Zips it’s time to upgrade so your staff and shine bright! I’m giving the staff 5 stars not the location.

ZIPS CAR WASHEverything was excellent, except I pay the bill on automatic draft, and I was declined a car wash twice in August for an unknown reason. My account had ample funds. All I was told is it hadn’t gone through. Asked attendant again. He said “I don’t know what happened.” Originally, I signed up for $20.00 per month. Zips increased the amount I was charged on my automatic draft to $30.00 when Suntrust Bank became Truist. This occurred in July when I gave Zips attendant the new debit card information from Truist Bank. I canceled the service Sept 09, 2023 due to the increase in price and and because they refused me service twice with no explanation.

Very disappointing. I’m a Zips member in another state and they say you can use any Zips. That is not true and this wash didn’t even get the car clean and when I inquired about being able to use any Zips, the response was short and rude as well

Visited the location on Poplar across from Huey's but I prefer the location next to East High school. Seems as though the wash is better and you don't have to worry about a noisy train coming through

There is no doubt that this location is extremely convenient for eastbound traffic on Poplar Avenue. All-in-all, this soft-touch, automatic, car wash cleans the surface grime off of the paint. However, the rinse cycle is wholly inadequate, and leaves a significant amount of soap on the surface of the vehicle. This wash is inferior to others, and not really quite worth the price. At least there is usually an attendant on duty.

I had a great experience the first time I went here about a week ago. I was greeted by the manager and he went above and beyond, because of him I wanted to go back, but unfortunately I did not have the same experience today. This time the manager was not present and the other employees were rude and unprofessional. I asked for a pre-wash which comes with the paid carwash and the worker refused. I told him I paid for it and he needed to do it he said no, and then proceeded to spit a sun flower seed and walk away. It was so disappointing that the workers act night and day when the manager is there versus when he’s not.

There is a problem with the spacing between cars inside the wash! 3x I have come very to a collision. Please investigate. In addition, the wash has been closed on sunny days. Entrance blocked, no employee visible.

I love this car wash, people are friendly and professional, vacuum’s always work. The system does a great job of cleaning my car. Love the extra touch of towels and cleaner for cleaning inside of car..Service: Polishing

I see several reviews of brushes not touching the vehicles enough at this location. I truly wish that had been our experience. Instead, we just paid $833 to have 3 large dents removed from my husband's truck because the malfunctioning brush rammed multiple times into it as it went down the passenger side. Filed a claim, local owner said he couldn't help as they are handled by corporate...and corporate denied it. Didn't even get reimbursed for the wash that caused the damage or even any apology. Will never go here again and have warned others. And, Owner, please don't act like you care on this review since you obviously do not based on your direct email response to us. Thanks.

Visited June 24th 2023, First time using Zips, I have used numerous other automatic style car washes for my 2021 Ram. I ran my truck through the Poplar location and discovered dents down the passenger side of my truck. The damage pushed my front fender in casing the passenger door to catch the fender when opened and dented two other spots on the bed in front of and behind the wheel well. My truck was pristine prior to going to this place. The staff got me a site assistant manager (I guess the manager couldn't be bothered to come up there) who helped me file a claim and even said there was another truck like mine who experienced similar damage not long before mine occurred. I have dash cam footage of the spinning brush bouncing off the side of my truck but Zips denied my claim and cited no other vehicles had damage like this. I spent 20 dollars on a sub-par wash and now have to pay an additional 500 to have the dents pulled. Wasn't even offered a refund.

Currently, I am on the auto car wash plan. My vehicle is always clean, shiny along with my bling bling. I just drive up, arm goes up, drive thru and I can get unlimited washes along with vacuum if needed.

It cleaned absolutely nothing on my car. Half of the little brushes didn't even move. My car came out just as dirty as it went in. The windows were clean and that was about it. At least the vacuums worked?

I bought the month plan and it doesn't wash the back of my car! My car is white and it's still filthy on the back. The driver door wasn't clean very well either. The dryer lasts longer than the wash! ? The guys working there were nice and made me give you one more star than I would have given.
