I'll present the facts and let you draw your own conclusionI purchased a 2011 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro from this location on September 20, 2022.List price was $6400 with a $495 Document fee;I test drove the vehicle for about 10 mins and it was about what I expected for a 2011 car with 166k miles on it. They had indicated that it was new to the lot so all they did was wash it and change the oil. Needed tires in about a year, brakes, etc. but had everything I needed for a teenage driver.I did NOT take it to a dealer for a pre-inspection.I offered. $5000 which he accepted (no counter, just "sounds good") $5460.80 out the door. They also included a vehicle protection plan for 3 months, 3000 miles (approx value $500 according to the dealer).I drove the car back to my house in BNA without issue. At approx 200 miles from purchase mileage, the low oil pressure/amount indicator came on. I visually inspected, no leaks or obvious causes so we added oil to the appropriate levels and carried on.Same indicator came on at about 180 miles from the oil add. With the ASC warranty in hand, I took it to the Audi Service Center in BNA and they agreed to look at it. I was informed that this engine has a history of excessive oil consumption and that a class action lawsuit was filed and won against Audi for this reason. The fix happens in three stages;1. first they change the breather valve, replace the timing chain cover and seal, and reprogram the computer.2. If that doesn't solve it, they do an oil consumption test (create a baseline) "bring it back immediately if the light comes on."3. Change pistons and rings or engine all together.Well, we did step 1 (warranty covered $274.18 toward the repair-total bill was $1420.67) and the light came on in less than 100 miles from the repair date. Proceeded to step 2 and the light came on 2 days later. The service center indicated that the engine is burning too much oil to change rings - you need a new engine (approx $13K).ASC warranty covers repairs that they deem "qualified" UP TO the purchase price of the vehicle. I had no problems dealing with them.I have multiple text conversations with Wolfchase and within those conversations I'm provided multiple suggestions on how to make this right. Including - "change viscosity-slows oil consumption by 75%", "look on you tube Audi fsi oil consumption", "go to Eurofix they are reputable", "have the turbo checked", "crank case vent valve."The last text I received was - "you purchased a 170K German automobile...you had the opportunity to take it to a mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection and you didn't. You did zero due diligence." "It was advertised at $6400 plus a $495 doc fee; you offered $5k so essentially a $2k discount." "We voluntarily gave you a $500 service contract." "I encourage you to read the your bill of sale where it states "I purchased this vehicle with any and all faults...you will waste your time in court." I paraphrased it but you get the point...CONCLUSIONThe salesman is very knowledgable about this engine and its overall history based on the continued repair suggestions. I'm hard pressed to believe that they didn't know this vehicle might fall into that category and jumped at the first offer without disclosing this. Based on the my purchase price and the ASC warranty I still think they made a profit on this vehicle so my "discount" is smoke and mirrors.I still own the vehicle, currently adding oil every 200 miles or so. Added oil stabilizer to it in hopes it will slow the burn a bit as the Youtube video suggested. Working with ASC and a shop that may replace the rings for me too.AS of this date, Nov 27th (2 months from purchase date). I still have not received the title for this vehicle. They claimed to have sent it multiple times but nothing as of today - on my second temp tag.Admittedly, I should have gotten a pre-purchase inspection and done more due diligen

Purchasing a car remotely, sight unseen is - honestly - slightly nerve wracking but Herb made it easy. At every step of the process he was helpful, knowledgeable, and honest about the car. The transaction was efficient and the process was straightforward. And a few days after exchanging funds and the title, the car rolled off a transport and into my driveway. I'm thrilled!

Extremely unprofessional sales associate here. Called and was told a vehicle here was getting fixed and I could return for purchase on Monday. I called again midday Monday and was told vehicle was in shop. I returned to check back in in-person Monday afternoon and as I was pulling in the lot, that very vehicle was being purchased by someone else. The associate should’ve just said that it was no longer available when I called. Ridiculous.

My experience with these guys has been great! I went in to test drive a vehicle and ended up driving it off of the lot to take home not an hour later. Negotiations were realistic, short and simple. Even after having an issue with the battery connectivity a few days later they volunteered to repair the connection and replaced the faulty battery at no cost to me. These guys deserve your business, and they deserve your respect. Be willing to work with them and they WILL work with you. I've never had buying a car made so simple. Thanks again guys, I hope this review helps your business and points more people in the direction of the least stressful car buying experience they could have.
