Bought a bubbler for $35.
Got home used it for one night.
Left it sitting for a day.
Noticed water leaking from bottom.
Called store to explain I had been sold broken glass.
Store said nothing they can do to help except offer words of apology.
I won't be back.
Spoke with store manager to make it clear customer service while purchasing glass wasnt the issue.
Return policy not allowing me to return or purchase replacement at a discount is the flaw. No one noticed this crack. I found it when I got home and tried to use the piece the next day.
Store says they wont take the piece back bc they can no longer sell it after being used for smoking / cracked.
Final verdict:
Store doesn't accept their fault.
Piece never shouldve gone to market and customer shouldnt have to pay double for store's mistake.
Bad business policy = losing customer for life.
Manager told me I the customer shouldve investigated the piece for damage before I purchased and used the product. My answer is: store should investigate their own pieces before they sell them to customers. customers shouldnt have to worry about a piece being broken if it was purchased from a reputable dealer.
I have been shopping with whatever store for years. I have never had a bad experience up until now Ive always been willing to pay a little extra to avoid going online or shopping at a less reputable discount glass store.
Whatevers must be going down hill.
Prices are marked up beyond reasonable value for almost all pieces. Literally every store in Memphis has same quality with lower prices and apparently it is OK to sell customers broken glass as long as no one spots the damage before they leave the store. That is perfectly fine for the business owner but screws the customer over.
I was shopping with whatever's due to nostalgia and history but now I'll just listen to my gut and avoid the sellout shop.

Justus helped us with a new piece and answered every question we had for like 20 minutes straight.. 😂 definitely love the new location, the parking is so much easier and safer now. 10/10 customer service and he packed it up perfect so it wouldn’t break

Called this store on behalf of a friend (who was sitting on my couch and asked me to make the calls during a moment of clarity). He was in bad shape and wanted them to please stop selling him nitrous as he was obviously abusing it and about to kill himself with it. Hundreds of dollars per week. The girl who answered the phone just... refused and told me I should be more supportive instead of judging him and for him to take some vitamin B. Super helpful medical advice. Out of all the stores I called or emailed, every single other store happily added him to a Do Not Sell list and they honored the request when he tried. This is the only store that had any sort of issue with him asking to be banned from buying it. She said if he was "obviously" abusing it then they would deny him but do they really think someone is buying hundreds of dollars of this stuff per week to make whipped cream? He doesn't own a bakery. I guess blue lips and burns on the mouth isn't enough to be obvious. Guess where he went when he relapsed? Now he has nerve damage. I don't have a problem with these stores selling anything they offer but if someone asks for the shop to help support their sobriety then it should be taken very seriously.

Seems like a nice enough place but it's super over priced compared to what I'm used to. A 16oz bag of kratom power is just over $100 which blows my mind. Considering I'm used to paying 60 for a kilo.
