Nothing new here but came to say don’t waste your time or energy going to this place. ESPECIALLY THE PHARMACY. Staff is rude and not helpful. Laquita is who I unfortunately dealt with. No help and just poor attitude. You can feel her life is full of negativity. Get it out of there!

Dequan/Quan is one of the friendliest young men in this store which by the way is in a very bad neighborhood very aware of his surroundings .Good job walgreens

This place is AMAZING!! All the employees are really nice!! A lot of these bad experiences are reasonable from the customer’s perspective, but if they knew what actually went on they would understand. I would also like to give props to Stacy for organizing the store!

Without elaborating about four out of four miserable experiences (I'm forced by my insurance company to use Walgreens), I believe that the problem starts at the top. When employees are so angry, unprofessional, and downright rude, one has to ask why. From listening to "corporate speak" for most of my working career, I know how it negatively affects employees. The problems at this store and other Walgreens are caused by overpaid, cliche-talking corporate types. Until there is a good housecleaning at the top level, there will not be any positive changes.

Just hit the 30 minute mark of being the "next caller" for the pharmacy. Trying to figure out why the prescription order that has been "out of stock" for 3 weeks now, just suddenly disappeared off my orders list. I dread every time I have to step foot in this place... now back to waiting for them to answer the phone (I doubt they will)

Another noteworthy experience. I had back surgery & was off my maintenance meds for several weeks. Unable to sibmit my refill request in the app, I called as advised about my bp pill. After maybe 20 mins holding, an individual answered. They took my dob & name. There were refills available. They advised that their system was a bit slow. They asked me to hold on. I believe I was put on hold bc my phone didn't disconnect. About 5 mins in, another person picked up & put me back on hold. 33 mins on hold & counting. I Forgot I was still on hold. I hung up & called back only to get "the pharmacy is closed for a meal break" recording. SAD!

(I noted that, to-date, 16 reviewers have used either the words "worst" or "awlful" in their first 2 sentences to review the WALGREENS PHARMACY LOCATED AT 4625 SUMMER AVENUE IN MEMPHIS. I've also noticed that NEVER is there any response or explanation from anyone associated with the WALGREENS PHARMACY LOCATED AT 4625 SUMMER AVENUE IN MEMPHIS regarding these or the numerous 1 & 2 Star reviews, which often indicates either a lack of interest or disinterest in thr buying public.)I have taken all I can from this WALGREENS PHARMACY LOCATED AT 4625 SUMMER AVENUE IN MEMPHIS. The majority of the time I receive a text that prescriptions are ready to pick just to find that, after an unnecessarily long wait in line either inside or outside the store. And, it's not that unusual for me to return when I've been told to come back and my medications STILL not be ready.Poor, awful, worst, unprofessional, uncaring, aloof, nightmare, intolerable, inconsistent...none of these words come close to describing multiple and unfortunate visits to the WALGREENS PHARMACY LOCATED AT 4625 SUMMER AVENUE IN MEMPHIS. After i told the pharmacy employee today that I was never coming back to the WALGREENS PHARMACY LOCATED AT 4625 SUMMER AVENUE IN MEMPHIS i was told "I hope you have a better experience at another location." No apology, no explanation and no attempt to retain a customer after I expressed my ultimate displeasure with the low low low quality of service I've received at the WALGREENS PHARMACY LOCATED AT 4625 SUMMER AVENUE IN MEMPHIS.If I could give a "no star" rating i would.

Went to Walgreens Pharmacy today because Kroger doesn't take my son's insurance. They told us Walgreens did so we went there. Dropped the prescription off at 1, kept getting the run around, finally picked up medicine like 5:30. First and last time ill go there.

Literally the worst Walgreens I have ever used. Every time you call, you're on hold for 20+ minutes only for them to hang up on you once you get through. Never going here again

Thank you All @ Walgreens for being so helpful for me and my family. Just yesterday Dr.Roy made sure I got my medicine even though there was some sort of computer error. Thank you all and I like the Police always being presence. It's worth the wait and I think the customer service is great!

Juan was very rude to me and other customers. Even told me that I broke “his door” that didn’t open. Does he talk to everyone this way? Seemed like he was extremely racist and prejudice and was looking to take his anger out on people that wasn’t like him. If you don’t want to be in customer service Juan, maybe you should look for a different job instead of favoring only Latinos and being rude to everyone else and having a racist disposition. I never initiated a conversation with him other than “how are you?” but it seemed he wanted to be rude to me and tell me I did something wrong when all I did was move the door that stopped half way. I was unaware it was broken until Juan told me and asked me if I did that everywhere. I don’t understand how someone like that can even have a job when there’s other people with much better people skills struggling to get a job. Completely senseless. This “kid” needs to learn a few lessons in life. Sad that kids these days talk to elders like this. And he did something similar to an elderly white woman in front of me.

I have been going to this pharmacy for years and they've always been terrible. Either a lazy pharmacist or not enough help. In the last 6 months they've turned it around. No more sitting in the drive-thru for an hour. They're on it. The pharmacist on the weekend is working his off. He's at drive-thru/on the phone and filling orders. Great job.

I switched all 10 of my prescriptions to Kroger at Poplar Plaza. ( they are fast, they answer the phone, and are very courteous! It’s not that far away they WALGREENS has messed up every prescription that I have, they never answer their phone at all! They constantly put you on hold, and then they hang up on you! corporate will not do anything about it! unless you go somewhere else it will just keep happening over and over! I figure eventually they’ll go out of business! And I hope they do! Obviously upper management does not take care of their employees because they can’t keep anybody! They have lost hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of my business because of this! This has been going on well over a year. Do not go here!
