I noticed some challenges during my visit as the service provided by the young ladies at this establishment seemed to lack the expected level of professionalism. It appeared that there might have been some gaps in their understanding of their roles. Their drive through sounds system needs to be changed/upgrade.It might be beneficial for customers to approach this location with awareness, considering the service quality experienced. I would suggest exploring alternative locations where there might be a more consistent level of expertise and service.Constructive feedback can be instrumental in fostering improvement, and I hope this serves as a helpful note for the management to address any potential service issues.

I don’t know how this junt is still standing. There’s 8 people in line waiting to checkout and instead of helping, one customer came over to hold the line up disinfecting everything. Insane.

I wish I could give negative stars.. Called the pharmacy to say there are two calls ahead of me only to have some pick up after 20 minutes to say hold please then after 28 minutes someone picks up only to hang up.. Call the actual store to simply just hold another 15 minutes.. Attempting to ask a few questions regarding my blood pressure medication. Glad it wasn’t an emergency “Ha”

First, let me start by stating that as a tenured specialty pharmaceutical market access and reimbursement director, that I am very well versed in processes and procedures relating to the retail pharmacy sector. However, I have never seen such a display of insolent; patronizing, incompetent, unprofessional in my professional career. Nathan, the laughable, joke of a Pharmacist in charge at the Walgreens retail pharmacy located at Park and Highland undoubtedly lacks knowledge of established SOPS, digital patient services platforms, customer service standards, and is oblivious to Walgreens’ commitment to comprehensive patient care. In a community heavily populated with elderly consumers of color, the last thing patients should experience is a healthcare professional speaking down to them in a belittling, patronizing tone that attempts to make them feel inferior. The issue I found with Nathan’s interaction is that he is projecting his own inferiority insecurities onto the pharmacy’s patrons, as he is unable to come to terms with his lack of knowledge and efficiency. That is an emotional and psychological issue to be assessed with his healthcare professional and not directed to customers.I have personally gone to this location on two separate occasions to retrieve a single prescription that I was guaranteed would be ready only to arrive and be told that the script had not been prepared. It was then that I opted to have my medication delivered to my home. On today I again bore witness to an injustice at the hands of this profligate of a person. An elderly woman had, on two separate occasions, taken trips to the pharmacy and was not able to get her prescription after receiving notification that it was ready. After of becoming understandable frustrated and explaining why she was frustrated in a professional manner, Nathan proceeds to tell her, “That she is being rude and that patients should treat the pharmacy like a restaurant. Place your order and wait.” I’m sorry, but why would a patron still be waiting at a restaurant on a meal order that was placed a week ago? The same elderly patient decided that she would opt to have her medications delivered to her home. The order was placed and confirmed via email. However, after returning to the mobile app a notification showed that the order had been canceled. She reached back out to the pharmacy via phone and again was connected with always ill informed and dishonorable Nathan. He proceeds to erroneously advise that an Rx order must first be placed before it can be considered for delivery. Well Nathan…the little button under the listed medication clearly says “add Rx to order”. Therefore, if the Rx was added to the cart, credit card info was entered and the order was abruptly canceled without request from the patient wouldn’t that mean that an order was placed? When this question was posed to him, he responded by saying, “Let’s just keep it simple. That’s just the way the system works.” Well, considering that I had recently placed a medication delivery order for myself for the first time and had no issue with a cancellation I am going to beg to differ with Mr. Nathan.I am absolutely livid that like the elderly customer mentioned above and many others, my insurer has opted to longer contract with Kroger pharmacy. Under no circumstance would I make a personal choice to utilize Walgreens prescription services of my own free will. More specifically, Nathan, along with his supporting staff would greatly benefit from refresher training relating to customer retention, customer communications, time management. I would be glad offer my consulting services to aid them in their professional development. His behavior is absolutely unacceptable.

Came here to get wood photos from online. They weren't ready and the lady had to call someone on the phone to help her thru it. At least she was trying but they definitely need more experienced and trained staff when dealing with people's photos.

If you have too much time and don’t know how to waste it, go to this Walgreens pharmacy. I had to spend one hour just to get two shots, even though I had an appointment. They’ll make you stand in the queue, no matter if you have an appointment or not. Oh and about the price, they charge higher for most products compared to kroger, cvs, walmart. I am never going back there.
