I really hate having to leave negative reviews ever but this service was just incredibly disappointing. It's a long one, but worth the read if you're thinking of using this company!!
I was moving apartments and had an upright piano I needed help transporting/getting up into my second story apartment. I know it's a big ask so I went into it expecting to pay a lot for a good team. The piano moving companies were a bit too expensive for me so I put in an estimate request for two men and a truck. I've attached my estimate sheet down below for proof of all the info I gave them.
At first, everything seemed easy and smooth. I put in my estimate request on Wednesday and they got back to me right away. You can see on there that I specified that it was being moved two a second floor apartment. I called first thing Thursday morning to confirm and check what availability they had for the weekend. The lady I spoke with, Vanessa, told me they were free the next day (Friday) and all I had to do was give my card info to put down a deposit and I'd pay the rest later. We give her our card info, secure the move, and we're set.
We called the next morning to confirm everything and get an estimate of what time we should expect them. Vanessa told us the movers would arrive anytime between 12 and 5 and they would call us 30 min beforehand to make sure we were ready.
They never came. We call again around 4:30 to see if they were still coming or if we should find someone else. We would've understood if they said they got caught up with another job or something and needed to reschedule. But no, we called and they said they had no evidence of our booking. We spoke with I believe the operations manager, (who I will say was very polite and calm when we spoke to him and tried his best to help) and he said all he had was that we put in an estimate, they called us to follow up, and we never got back to them. He assured us our card hadn't been charged and said he could send a team out first thing the next morning and apologized for the miscommunication.
But THEN, the following morning arrives. They told us they'd arrive between 8 and 10. They arrived around 8:15/8:30 maybe? The men who loaded the piano were super nice, handled everything with care, and everything seemed to be working out. Right before they head out, my dad is talking with them and mentions stairs. They seem surprised and say they didn't know anything about stairs and usually they aren't permitted to move upstairs. They talked with their manager who then calls and says they don't move heavy objects past the first floor?? He says if they had known about it being on the second floor they would've never agreed to do this. I tell him I have my form pulled up and it specifically says "Move for Floor 2" but the guy on the phone is looking at some other form I conveniently don't have and he says nowhere on there does it say anything about a second floor/
He offers to unload the piano back into the old apartment free of charge or move the piano to the new location and leave it on the sidewalk for $300. At this point, my dad is frustrated and doesn't have a team to help him load the piano and just asks them to leave it on the sidewalk. It's only an 8 minute drive between apartments but they took about 20 minuets to actually get there and then sat around for another 15 before they even began to unload the truck. If they hadn't taken so long, it wouldn't have even been an hour's worth of work. But when everything was said and done, it was an hour and then some. So of course they charged us for that whole time.
The movers then said that for $150 they would just go ahead and move the piano up the stairs off the record but of course by then we were just so frustrated and done that we just did it ourselves.

My second experience was not as good as my first experience.
Several of my walls were damaged. I had to pay to fix my wall which included buying paint ($75) for a brand new home that didn't need it.
The time quote was extremely short but didn't help that one of them was on the phone not pulling his weight, one was struggling as it was too much and one was running circles around the other two.
Another issue they didn't show up with their tools so had to wait on a manager.
My bill ended up being $400 more because of things out of my control.
I have reached out to management several times with no response.

Two men and a truck called us an hour before they arrived. The crew of 3 worked quickly to load the boxes we packed. They wrapped furniture and even took special care of some of our more valuable items. Everything made it in one piece. The same crew (Big Mac, Coleman, and White) unloaded at our new house a state over and again worked quickly.

Best moving company we have ever used, hands down! They were very careful moving and handling the furniture; something we are always worried about when packing and moving. The guys were extremely nice and very professional! I highly recommend using Two Men and a Truck from the Memphis location. ❤️

Big Mac and Tommy were great! They were super careful with the furniture and made sure to avoid hitting the walls when turning around tight corners. They were also really fun to be around! 10/10 recommend these guys.
