My kids love thrifting, more than even I do. So they wanted to check out the local thrift stores while we were in Cordova visiting family. We had gone to Goodwill the day before but Salvation Army is a much more pleasant shopping experience.Right when you walk in the door, it’s very aesthetically pleasing. The racks of clothing are well organized by season, style, color and sizes. The racks aren’t packed full where it is hard to look thru. The prices are very reasonable. I did notice some of the items had stains on them and I ended up with an item where the seam has come undone in one place. I didn’t notice when I bought it. There are no refunds or exchanges here so buy accordingly.

I had someone come out to my house to possibly pick up a dresser and a nightstand. Wouldn’t take it because of minor issues. They said they would take it to the curb for me. Instead of carefully putting it on the curb for someone else to use it, they broke it and made the minor issues worse than what they were before. Just because you are not going to take it please take into consideration that someone might want to use it.

Extremely rude cashier guy(white, 30s). Also, rude customer(black female, 20s) jumped in front of me in line. It's Memphis, of course they are going to treat me this way. Such hateful people. So un Christian like. Why can't people be kind? I'm going through enough hard times right now.

I did have a okay experience and I would like this store to have Thier employees start putting sticker labels that says item is broken and not working instead selling the stuff for wasting people's money. This is a broken paper towel handle Pusher to get it and tear it off and disappointedly haven't never thought they did not put hand soap liquid in the black soap pumper and this black soap dispenser is messed up freaking disgusting and very unhealthy for avoiding hand cleanliness.

Went in to look at the jewelry and was told they now sell it all to a local jeweler. ?♀️ you lost a great customer and I’m sure others stopped going as well. I would usually come in to look at jewelry and always left with other items. Will not go back in there.

Went in there for specifically for a jewelry bag, was waiting for the gentleman to ring up another lady. Before I could get the words out of my mouth when the guy asked me if I needed any help, a female mpd officer rudely interrupted and said she wanted to see a bag, he handed her one, then she asked to see the one I was waiting on, then said forget it. I will buy all of them. Did the clerk acknowledge that I was already being helped and was requesting the specific bag? No. Did the clerk grab every bag and sell them to the rude in uniform officer that cut in line? Absolutely. When I spoke up and said something, the officer told me I could have one, but not the one i was waiting for. And the clerk just looked at me like I was stupid. Apparently customers whom are waiting their turn really don't matter here and they let the ones that cut in line get whatever they please.Guess it pays to be rude in uniform. If this is how customer service is here, I will not be back, and wouldn't recommend anyone else to, unless they like being treated like they're non existent.
