My family and I could not be happier with the training that Taming the Wild provided for our girls - and for us! This was our third attempt at getting training that worked for our two female rescues. Before coming to Taming the Wild, we tried in-home training with certified trainers and also sending our dogs to a week long behavioral training program. Neither of those things stuck with our dogs or worked very well for us to incorporate into our daily lives. Bryan, Ashley and the Team at Taming the Wild changed that for us and we are forever grateful! We rescued our girls two years apart from each other when they were both very young puppies. They are now 8 and 6 years old. They're both precious angels in our lives and always have been...however...they had some bad behaviors that we just couldn't seem to get under control. We felt trapped in our own home. We worried about anyone ringing the doorbell, any activity that was out of the ordinary and anyone coming to our home to provide a service (yard, pest, repairs, etc). When you have two - they sometimes feed off of each other. So, when one gets worked up, the other gets worked up and they become hard to control. Top that with one of our girls being EXTREMELY ANXIOUS ALL THE TIME, and it magnifies the circumstances tremendously. As much as our girls get along, love each other and play with each other, when these tense moments of anxiousness and bad behavior arose, it would sometimes lead to the two of them getting into fights with each other. Ugly ones that were hard to stop. Stitches, drains, weeks of medications, cones of shame and keeping them away from each other while they healed :(. It was so sad and so hard for ALL OF US.A close friend of ours had sent one of her dogs to Taming the Wild and said it was not only successful for them, but a totally different approach to training than we had tried in the past. So we gave it a try and we're so glad we did! Both of our girls did the 21-day Board & Train Enhanced Training program based on our needs. We missed them LIKE CRAZY while they were gone!!! However, Ashley was WONDERFUL about sending us updates, pictures and videos each week! She always let us know what they were working on, what they had mastered and how they were doing. When she would send videos, you could hear Ashley and the team talking to our girls and you could just feel the love they had for them! Such a small thing to notice, but such a big feeling of comfort to us that not only were they being taken care of, but treated kindly and LOVED!!!Of special note - as was mentioned earlier, we have one sweet girl with overwhelming anxiety. During the girls training, Bryan evaluated her and shortly after, we met with him to discuss how to help make her life less stressful and happier. He recommended that we try an anti-anxiety medication in addition to the training. We've tried meds for her in the past, but nothing seemed to work or help calm her down. After approval from our vet, we started this new regimen and it has made A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE in all our our lives!!!Since completing the board & train program, our girls understand what is expected of them and you can visibly see how proud they are when they complete a command we've asked of them. It's a WIN for us and a WIN for them - and that makes for a much happier life together!Thank you Bryan, Ashley & the Team at Taming the Wild!!!

Can’t say enough great things!! We have a rescued, Doberman/Boxer mix. We tried training at home and a few paid training sessions. But our boy had SO much energy, was reactive, and quite frankly took over our lives. We wanted a better relationship with our pup. He is a big boy and takes up a lot of space. Mouthing, counter surfing…you name it, he did it, and we could not break him of it on our own. After seeing mutual friend recommend Taming the Wild, I reached out. From my first phone call to picking him up at graduation, it was a great experience. Ashley, the primary trainer, was amazing. Such a caring professional who helps the owners so much by sharing her expertise. In our crossover lesson, I was so afraid that I would not be able to maintain the investment we made in our relationship with our beloved Scoob. But knowing that I can reach out at any time for guidance is a great comfort and support. Also, the homework for the owners was so, so helpful for me. I could literally go on for much more, but I will say this. The basic + e-collar enhancement board and train has changed our life and our relationship with our sweet boy has grown so much!

Taming the wild is absolutely exceptional! It is well worth every penny! From the cleanliness of the place to the professionalism of the staff, I give this place 5 stars!! Our dog participated in the enhanced training and she is doing amazing! We would recommend Taming the Wild to anyone and everyone! Makenzie was our trainer and we couldn’t have been more pleased! She kept us in touch the entire time and was very thorough in our exit lesson to make sure we were prepared to take our dog home! If you are on the fence, I say DO IT! You won’t regret it!

I’m glad there’s not a word limit because I could go on and on about how this training has changed not only my dog’s life, but mine as well. Owning a Great Dane is challenging, but owning a Great Dane that was stubborn, and strong willed was scary. I was limited on what I could do and where I could go with my dog. I’m now able to take him with me everywhere and I love hearing people comment about his behavior. It’s one thing to train our dogs, but it’s another thing when the staff takes time to train the owners. Being able to go back and refresh skills whenever needed has been invaluable. When things don’t go to plan, I hear the trainer’s voice in my head telling me what to do - and it works every time.If you’re considering enrolling your dog, don’t hesitate. Taming the Wild was recommended to me and I’ve not regretted it for one minute. Every dog owner deserves a well-trained dog. And every dog deserves a well-trained owner.

Taming the Wild is absolutely incredible! i took my 4 month old Cane Corso to them for the Advanced Training and within 3 weeks he learned so much! I could not imagine having a dog without taking them to Taming the Wild! Ashley and the whole staff are so kind, friendly and knowledgeable. They stay in constant contact with you which makes you feel like part of the process and it’s awesome to watch them work with your dog as they are learning. I will continue to do more training with Ashley and will only board my dog at Taming the Wild!

My dog became extremely reactive to new and unfamiliar people. I knew we had to send him to a train and board program to work through these issues. After carefully researching various programs and going through reviews, I made an appointment for a behavioral assessment with Taming the Wild. After meeting with Bryan and looking at the facility, I knew this was the place for my Capone. Not only is the facility aesthetically pleasing, it’s modern and extremely clean and well kept. Bryan is extremely knowledgeable about dog behavior. In addition, we were introduced to the staff that would be working with our dog and also got to meet and interact with them. I cannot express how pleased we were when our dog graduated the program. He has done a complete 360. I had a level of expectation for Capone but he has far exceeded those. Since coming back home, I can tell he is such a happy boy. The things that were once triggers for him now have little to no impact on him. Also, as owners, we were given the education and tools that we need to ensure he is successful for the remainder of his life and to help him with those triggers when they arise. While he was at training, we received regular updates and videos. The progress was simply amazing and I cannot recommend this facility enough.

Bryan and his team has done wonders for our family. Our dog Honey has been suffering with FAS and was scared of everyone new But this team has helped her do a complete 360. I Can now have friends over again without worrying about her being horrified. She can walk on a leash and do basic commands now that she couldn’t do before. They also helped my 10 year old pit be able to walk on a leash without pulling us down. We are now living a happy peaceful life with our sweet babies. Thank you guys so much. We will 100% use you in the future for any other dog we ever adopt.

Taming the Wild is a great obedience school. The staff are friendly and responsive to emails and calls. We took our 6month adopted stray for enhanced training after he started getting too rambunctious in the house (he was jumping, not listening, and nipping a lot). Ashley trained him and did an excellent job. She updated us every few days w videos on his progress. She answers all of our questions quickly and thoroughly. Our dog’s behavior has improved so much. He does not jump, minds his manners; and our kids love playing with him. Our daughter who has been afraid of dogs for years now adores him, pets him, and takes him for walks. The training is totally worth it.

The team at Taming the Wild allowed our family to gain control of our puppy. Ashley is our trainer and she is AH-MAZING. She communicated with us, sent helpful videos, and loved on our dog. During the turnover lesson, she thoroughly went through all the things so that we felt comfortable with the training methods at home. Our dog has high energy and our children didn’t want to be around him prior to training, but now they can use commands to help the behavior and have ALL the snuggles! We are very happy!

Taming the Wild is amazing. Our puppy, Garner, is a changed boy. He learned many important commands and is very “tame” now in the house. The good news is he is still his crazy self and fun and loving but he now knows boundaries. I highly recommend you check them out if you have a rambunctious puppy at home.

Ashley @ Taming the Wild took excellent care of our 16 week old puppy and is a true expert at training. We invested in the Enhanced Training (21 day course). Our Aussie is so well behaved yet still a playful puppy! Taming the Wild clearly has a science and methodology in what they do! Morgan and Emma are incredible to work and the facilities are clean and truly five star. I would encourage anyone to make this investment in Taming the Wild. Our experience, and the result, are exactly what we expected. We would definitely do it again, and we might return for an advanced session in the future.

McKenzie did an amazing job training our dog in the 2 week basic board and train. She helped us understand what we need to do to enforce the training in our home and our puppy has been absolutely amazing. Our 5 month old German shepherd went through the program with the remote collar enhancement and it has been some of the best money we’ve spent. She listens to us and remains calm when we need her to. It really unlocks your peace of mind having a well behaved dog. 5 stars to the taming the wild program and McKenzie!

Ashley was a wonderful trainer. Before her training our two dobermans locked up & shutdown when we put a leash on them. After her training, the dogs walk like pros & I am able to run with them every morning. They sit, stay, & place also. The videos were helpful too, I learned a lot. I dig the book, seeing my dog as a wolf is helpful, I always ask my wife “what wolf is this?” So my wife & I are very thankful to the whole crew of Taming the Wild.
