I was pretty disappointed in Spyder Moving Services. At first, I thought they were great to work with — they quoted me for five hours, and they were willing to move my belongings when I wasn't there. But on the day of the job, they billed me for 8 hours, which is $525 more than I was expecting. In addition, they sent me numerous documents via email that had to be signed right then and there — without giving a head's up that they needed this information prior. They called me multiple times while I was out to dinner with family that they needed documents signed right in that moment — I was frustrated by the lack of communication that this was needed last-minute. I also felt taken advantage of that the job they quoted me for was to take 3 extra hours.

First of all when you call the company, the person who answers doesn’t even say the company name, you have to ask him “ is this Spyder moving company.” Then the movers show up an hour late. They make you pay from when they leave their facility or wherever they are, so if they get stuck in traffic, you’re paying for that. You also have to pay for their drive back. My total was $300 more than what I had calculated and when I asked the mover and the receptionist for a break down, both got attitudes like they didn’t want to do it. Mover started saying how he was trying to get home and didn’t have time for this. And not to mention they are supposed to be a professional moving company but they have NO EQUIPMENT! They couldn’t even get my washing machine out of my house so I have to get another moving company behind them to go back and get it, which is additional money. Very poor moving company. Do not hire!!!!
