I had the worst experience at a gas station in Memphis Tennessee. I arrived to temporarily park my truck and decided to use the restroom. I hadn't gotten off my truck yet when I was surprised by a very strange situation. A man with a car without a license plate blocked my truck and did not allow me to move. He asked me for a fine of $721, without any prior information, I called the local police for safety and because it seemed like a scam, and asked for help, but no one answered my request.
I was surprised at how quickly this became apparent almost immediately after I pulled into the gas station. I understand the importance of following parking rules, but this was very unusual and unexpected for me.
I know there are rules and fines, but this seems very suspicious and may need further investigation. I am going to contact the local authorities and possibly advise if it is legal or not.

charged my 5 dollars for a small pack of life savers and cheated my sister out of 7 dollars she got chezzits and a drink and it cost 8 dollars i would like to get my 5 dollars back

I highly discourage truck drivers to park there over night . Food too expensive- small bottle coke and small water bottle could cost you about $10. The cashier is always on break, and you have no access to store due to locked doors. single restroom without lock- no such thing as privacy.

Every other con-store charges $1.25 for Rip It energy drinks. This guy tells me he can charge up to $2/drink. That’s fine. I support capitalism. However, if your sign says $1.25 don’t screw with customers and charge a different price. CHANGE THE SIGN!

IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS, I parked for 20 minutes at 9:30 am and they put a lock on the truck and trailer, I had to pay 265 dollars to be able to leave. They are THIEVES, I will never return to this place again ,THIEVES!!!!!!!

He demanded a fine of $290 from me, other i will shoot you while which left me in shock.He takes money and run immediately.I was amazed at how quickly this situation unfolded, almost instantly after my arrival at the gas station. I understand the importance of following parking rules, but this was very unusual and unexpected for me.Of course, I understand that there are rules and fines, but this case looks very questionable and may require further investigation. I plan to contact local authorities and possibly consult this is legal or illegal.

No one likes to pay to park but if you park here they will get you if you don't pay! They will put a boot on your steer Tire and block your truck with a pickup truck. If you don't pay to have the boot removed and leave immediately you will be towed. They do not play around! I saw one guy get his tire booted and then got in a big argument and then the police came and it was very ugly. The inside of the store is clean for the most part but the prices are very expensive! The food is very good and well prepared but you pay the price!

I plan to contact local authorities and possibly consult with a lawyer to determine if this fine was issued lawfully and what actions should be taken in this situation.
