I‘ve been a regular customer at this store and midtown resident for years. I've never gotten disrespected by any man until I experienced an incident at this store with the guy at the counter. I think he's the owner, not sure, but last week I've spent about $50 in a day at the store bc of the winter storm. I was looking for incense that day and I asked the guy at the counter for the price and he said, “look at the top.” I looked and said, “I don't see the price.” He then rushed over and said, “ma’am! I am showing you here!” and I said , ”There’s no price...” and he said, “I was showing you the other incense, ma’am!” I was confused and told him that he never answered my question, I only asked for a price on the ones that I picked up and he's showing me something else with an attitude. I didn't understand at all. So, I confronted him about his attitude after he apologized. I told him that, “I'm spending all of this money at your store, don't ever disrespect me like that again.”Today, I went to the store to get some gas on Apple pay. It declined my purchase. I just found out from the bank that the merchant declines certain prepaid cards due to authentication. Which was fine bc I was about to go to the bank anyway down the street to get cash out. So instead I used a different card to pay for another item bc I didn't have much on the card. The man yelled at me in front of all the customers. He told me, “ma’am! this guy behind you has to check out his things!” The customer was white of course. Note: I've noticed that he's super sweet to white people or just men in general. Very rare with women but anyway, I told him, “We had this conversation last week about your attitude after I spent about $50 in your store and you're going to disrespect me again? No, Don't worry about it, I'm never shopping at your store again!”So, folks, I'm writing this bc not only this guy embarrassed me in front of everyone in the store today, he disrespected a woman, a woman who's spending so much money and always super nice and respectful. If he can be disrespectful towards me, I know that he'll be the same way to you. What he doesn't understand, when you're dealing with a customer already, out of respect, I don't care how long that customer is, they come first. Not the person behind. I've been in retail for over 10 years to know this. The guy was wrong and very rude. And if you're the owner reading this or the guy at the counter, shame on you! A person with your energy, mindset and attitude, Good luck with the karma coming your way. Whatever energy you sent out, will come back to you 10 fold. Remember that.

Real authentic Memphis, Face is amazing, he always has a smile and remembers a lot of the customers by name / cracks jokes and dose coin tricks, 1G plays soul music outside on a boom box from his bike while keeping the place clean/ safe. Among other things I love this place lol.Hope it never changes,

I think some these reviews are outdated There's ONE handicap parking spot & someone's Honda van is parked in it every time we go there -- my wife is in a chair so we need the side access We're NOT going back -- 3 times is enough!!
