Worst experience!!!! I ordered a burger, and the cook told me it will be ready in about 45 mins. When I arrived there I still had to wait in a long line. The lady who was fixing the burgers was looking very confused. I wanted to see what the hype was about, and it was terrible! The store was very dirty inside. I politely walked, because it wasn't worth all of that!

I don’t think anyone should ever recommend this place because it is never actually open. It might be a local prank, I’m not sure, but they don’t answer the phone during listed hours and the doors have been locked every time I’ve tried to visit. This is over four visits between noon and 3pm on several different days of the week.Either the posted hours are consistently wrong, or this place isn’t actually a business.

You got to be kidding me this is for sure Hood I am surprised that code inforcement have not closed this place It's pass out dated the cooks are some of the nasty looking people I ever saw they hang in front of the store Drinking Beer ? food not cook or keep at the right temperature the Grill and all cooking utensils are filthy nobody washing there hand nothing to sanitize nowhere you stand and look around you may get sick IF YOU THINK THIS PLACE IS A GOOD PLACE TO BUY BURGERS OR ANYTHING YOU HAD TO RIDE SHORT BUS TO SCHOOL Fr it should be zero Star

You will not find a better burger in the city of Memphis, TN. I've been coming here for years and somehow manage to forget how good they are. We ordered and decided to take our food down the street to grind city brewery and eat. If you can handle some xect level ish, I'd order the uptown burger if I were you. ??????????????????????????????????????????????

Needs organization. Us as people of color have been coming up with great food and ideas for centuries and falling short due to lack of organization, resources, support, lack of professionalism and poor marketing. I called our order in, waited 15 mins before I left home, took the 12 minute drive and food was not ready. We waited an additional 45 minutes and our order was not even started. So we left empty handed. We were so excited to try someplace out of our normal range and was sadly disappointed (and HUNGRY).

Okay, so we decided to pop in and eat. Right away when we got there we were a little nervous. This is an tiny little store that literally looks like it is from a movie set. I have to say that from the guys hanging out front, to the other customers, the employees, and even Roxie sitting at the register taking your order, THESE ARE THE NICEST PEOPLE ON THE PLANET! We ordered cheeseburgers and fries and stood in amazement as they cooked them. The meat was fresh! No frozen patties! I will say this...I regret not getting breakfast. It was barely 11 so the cook was whipping up the finest pancakes I have ever seen. He made an egg sandwich that the guy ate in front of me and I promise I wanted to slip him a $20 to let me have it! It was amazing!!! Keep in mind that there is nowhere to sit. It is to go only, unless you want to stand and eat your egg sandwich like the guy by me. Honestly, I can't blame him because is looked amazing! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT MISS THIS SPOT!! It is such a neat place. I absolutely loved everything about it!!!

Well today was the first time I was able to try Roxie's and mann it was GOODT, I have been trying to get their burger since last February but due to my schedule and the fact that Roxie's is a little hole in the wall, when they run out of fresh beef for the burgers they close.. So today when I was on my way somewhere else and saw they were opened when I passed by I immediately phoned in an order and picked it up on my way back. As previously stated it's a hole in the wall, but that burger was flavorful, juice will run down your arm. The burger was messy but be believe you me I ate EVERY bit. You'll probably have a better chance at trying them for breakfast ( I'm trying that next), unless you don't mind a lunch wait please call ahead.
