I had a disappointing experience at the aquarium. I arrived around 7:45 PM to purchase some fish and stood there waiting for assistance. The staff member, a white man, never asked if I needed help. When the clock struck 8:00 PM, he informed me that they were technically closed. I asked if he would assist me, and he replied no, pointing out that the sign on the door stated they closed at 8:00 PM. I pointed out that I was there before closing time, and he continued to insist that I should read the sign. It seemed to me that he was willing to help a white woman and her boyfriend but refused to assist me, a black woman. This experience felt very unprofessional and unfair. I will be in contact with cooperate about this situation and I will be back tomorrow to get his picture and name. A person with that attitude should not be working in a customer service environment. I want to thank Georgette for stepping in and helping me!

We love the Cordova Petco! We've been bringing my pup there for years, she's obsessed with Miss Doris! She will literally search her out whenever we're there (one time she took us over to the fish to find her!)

I have recently adopted a few jumping spiders. Marcus and Barbara have been extremely helpful in the process. They have helped my husband and I understand not only how to feed them but also to educate us on how to keep the feeder crickets alive. We were struggling to keep them alive longer than a week. We were just ignorant of the process. They gave pointers and helped us find the proper food and hydration materials and how to manage their habitat. I really enjoy coming to this location.

I take my two grandsons to Petco. We visit McDonald's first and to see all of the animals at Petco is always our next stop. They love to the fish of so many colors, and the birds, snakes, spiders, hamsters, and others as well. It is so exciting for them. Through a glass window, they can watch dogs being groomed.
