Taking our sweet, but chaotic rescue pup, Hope, to Paw Paws for training was the best investment we could have made for our family. We’re thrilled with the obedience training, but what really sets Paw Paws apart is how much happier Hope is. She’s calmer, more confident, and still the sweet love bug we know and adore. Hope so loved her time with Rebecca, Jordan, and the pack that, once our training time was over, we made the decision to further invest in a Daycare Package. Now, our Chaos Pup looks forward to her days at Paw Paws and comes home exhausted, calm, and happy. We never worry about her safety or wellbeing because the level of care is just excellent. Our experience has been an all-around joy and we’re so pleased with the positive impact Paw Paws has had on our family.

My babies were going to another daycare. I was told multiple times that my little one was aggressive therefore they would kennel her. I searched and found Pawpaws. My babies went for an evaluation and I boarded them for 7 days. While there, they both had level 1 obedience training and did great. They continue to go 3 to 4 times a week and love it. Both are thriving due to Becky and others. I go to work knowing my babies are safe, taken care of, and are enjoying themselves. I am thankful for Pawpaws!

Rebecca and Paw Paw's staff are fantastic!!!! I adopted a puppy from MAS a little over a year ago who needed a lot of help adjusting to being around other puppies and humans. I enrolled her in Paw Paw's Level 1 training program at the recommendation of a friend, and it was a total game-changer!!!It went from "Oh my gosh, why did I get a dog?" to "I have the coolest, most well-behaved little side-kick ever."She still goes to Paw Paw's every day for daycare and loves her "aunt Becky"! I can't say enough about Rebecca. Total game-changer! Highly recommend!

Amazing experience! My dog Radley was sometimes “overly enthusiastic” and didn’t always listen to my commands. I signed him up for Level 2 “dog school” (and I like to call it) with Becky and he is a changed dog!!The one-on-one sessions were so helpful. Becky answered all of my questions and walked me through all of the steps of commands such as sit, stay and “leave it.”Radley is so calm on his walks now. I can say “leave it” and he ignores other dogs on the path. I can ask him to “sit” in the middle of a walk and he does it!I can say “bed” and he goes to his bed to wait for me to get the leash for a walk (rather than jumping and jumping like he used to do!).After the 30 days of “school” I purchased a day care pass and he absolutely loves going to Paw Paw’s Pets. He is so excited each morning that I take him. Overall, he is a happier and calmer dog.The staff is professional and personable. And I am grateful for them!

Paw paw’s has been a god-send for me and my puppy, Bunny! When we first started, Bunny was dog reactive and needed training not to pull on the leash. Now she is super well-behaved and can play with other dogs. She’s like a completely different dog and they have preserved my sanity. I definitely recommend Becky and Jordan as dog trainers! Bunny loves the daycare and grooming options there too. All the staff are friendly and welcoming and we’ll be regular customers forever.

We took our dog Charlie to Paw Paw’s for training, and in just a month, the daily training paid dividends. Not only did he learn basic commands that have stuck for two months now past his training, he learned how to socialize with other dogs in a healthy way that will be beneficial for him for life! The staff at Paw Paw’s are attentive to each dog in their care, and they take initiative to get to know owners as well. We appreciate everything they did, and their rate for daycare is hard to beat.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about paw paw’s, my puppy Daisy loves it. She loves being able to play with all of the other dogs and jumping into the kiddy pool if she gets too hot. She even tries to wake me up extra early every morning to try and get over there earlier. She’s been doing the training for about 2 weeks now and I’ve noticed a huge difference with her in that little of time. She used to pull on the leash too hard but since she started the training it’s basically nonexistent anymore. The staff is absolutely wonderful and they care about your dog.

Paw Paw’s has been a great value, has a staff of great people, and treat our dogs as their own. They do a great job of keeping us informed about what they see in our dogs on a day to day basis. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the service they’ve provided, AND they beat everyone else’s rates.

There is so much I could say about this place! They always take care of our babies as though they were their own. I am so thankful to have Paw Paws Pets right here in Memphis. They always feel like an extension of our little family. Always there to answer any questions that we may have. Both of our dogs have been through the day training program with them and have been going to day care for some time now. We couldn’t imagine a better place to send our pups every day. Safe place to send your pups!

I was a happy customer at Paw Paws Daycare until a recent incident made me reevaluate. After picking our dog Stax up from a ten-day boarding, we discovered a severe wound on his foot.
This injury, under their watch, prompted me to explore other options. I contacted owner Rebecca to cancel daycare and requested a refund for the upcoming month's fee, which had already been charged.
Rebecca, quite viciously, denied the refund, citing their service agreement. I then mentioned Stax's injury, which required treatment, sedation, recovery, and a substantial vet bill, hoping for some grace given the circumstances and our history as customers.
Shockingly, Rebecca immediately denied responsibility, insisting the injury happened outside daycare. However, this was simply impossible. Stax was with us for just 24 hours and mostly slept after his boarding at Paw Paws. She coldly stated that "there will be no refund" -- and showed *zero* care, consideration, or compassion for the well-being of our dog.
Rebecca's dismissive, unapologetic demeanor toward this injury shows where her true priority lies: protecting her bottom line and childishly winning arguments, not genuine concerns from a customer. Prior to this injury, we had used Paw Paws for six months and spent over $3,000 on their services. Her treatment was simply unacceptable.
Moreover, Stax's injury raises concerns about cleanliness, supervision, and crating duration during boarding stays at Paw Paws. (Notably, Rebecca's website has *zero* photos or information about their boarding practices.)
Based on her reaction to our incident, if you inquire about their boarding practices, I'd expect combativeness, resistance, and even possible reluctance to show you the facilities. If that isn't a red flag, I don't know what is.
If you're unsure about Paw Paws, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. I'm relieved to leave Rebecca's daycare and hope this review encourages her to treat customers with more dignity and respect.

Paw Paw's Pets was the perfect answer to our dilemma. Moving into a rental house while renovations are being done to ours, we were worried about this beagle boy causing damage to furniture, floors or woodwork in both houses. I like having him along with me at work, but he was always trying to climb in the back of the van or in my lap, or barking at dogs going by. His behavior at home with us needed some work too, and he was so difficult on walks that we usually opted not to take him.Neighbors recommended Paw Paw's and we signed him up for a month of daycare and Level I training. There was a huge difference after only a few days, and at graduation, Leon was perfecting all the goals we were shooting for. He has been socialized with other dogs, does great on a leash, and is calm and happy at home. He is safe and happy, getting great care and exercise when we can't be with him, and well-behaved when he is at home.Paw Paw's is now our go-to for daycare, boarding, and future training/continuing ed! Can't say enough about the stellar staff and owners of this place--friendly, knowledgable, and always available to answer any questions. And it's all quite affordable too.Just look at this guy now. He rides shotgun like a pro!

I am so glad I found Paw Paw’s! Becky and the entire staff are absolutely wonderful! Becky is an amazing trainer and had my 4-5mo puppy passing her AKC Star Puppy test in 4 weeks. Could not have gotten my pup under control without her. Both of my pups love daycare and the prices for both of them to attend every day is just perfect! 10/10 would recommend!
