“I like the ice cold bottle of water they bring just as I drove up. Someone came over right away to help me. One young man even mentioned when I asked him about coupons that there was one on the Take 5 website that would save me a little. It was for $7 but every little bit counts. They got me through and out quite quickly.The young lady that helped me-I think her name was something like Kia- was by far the most cordial, speedy and efficient of all the guys. She was ready with a big smile and a kind word and assurance she’d make sure my oil change was satisfactory. If she’s not the lead she should be. “Was visiting from out of town and the a/c went out on my truck with temps around 100 degrees outside. Originally took my truck to a national chain shop in town and they said they couldn't fix it because they couldn't get the parts. My next call was to Memphis Auto based on the reviews and they did not disappoint. Said he could have the parts the next morning and to have it there when they opened. He got my a/c fixed quickly and at a reasonable price for the amount of work involved. Would highly recommend to anyone.”

“I had long known the fine Pashby family but just recently had the opportunity to bring a real problematic older car in to the shop. A car that had sat too long and had multiple issues.I found them to communicate well, assure that each step of the extensive needed work was approved, and they ultimately took care of everything. I know that Jason would be proud of how Candice has carried on the business after his untimely departure to Heaven. I think that ladies might well be nervous about bringing cars into shops sometimes, but they might feel better if they knew a wonderful lady owns and runs this one? They also loved on my dog, CrashtheLawDog. Anyway, I brought them a big problem and they came through for me. Now that restored car is going off to become a missionary kid’s very first car. Thank you Pashby’s for being there for us! God bless y’all.”

“I'm a first time customer, there for brake work. I can't thank Amanda Martin enough for being so good communicating with me over several days as to the status of my car repairs. Even though they ran into some unexpected issues, she was very good about letting me know the problems, so patient answering all my many questions, and just in general keeping me updated. The shop was clean and neat, and I felt good about their ability to take care of my car. Will definitely not hesitate to return there if needed!”

“First time dealing with Gateway tire and auto today. I was particularly impressed because the two young ladies at the front desk were very enthusiastic and very helpful. I have been buying tires from Walmart for the last three decades, and when we moved to Memphis. We’ve just got really really really bad service from Walmart. I bought one tire today. I was in at the time they quoted to me, and the price was very reasonable. I’ll be going back in the next week or two to get the rest of my tires done and get in alignment. I’m bump to five stars if they do an awesome job on the alignment always had issues in the past with Pep Boys.”
“I'm surprised at the reviews. They told me it would be a 2.5 hour wait. We were visiting someone at the hospital across the street so went back there to wait, but I took the car, so they called me less than an hour later and said they were ready. I went back over. The guys were all working the whole time (at some garages, like PepBoys, they're just standing around while one works). I stood on the other side of the wall in the work area so I could ask questions, which annoys some mechanics, but these guys weren't annoyed.They only charged $10 to plug our tire, whereas I'd gone to Firestone near there who told me I HAD to have a new tire for no less than $150, so Walmart saved me $140.”
“I see a lot of really bad reviews, i dunno if it's bad luck or what... these guys work hard, they're as friendly as you could hope for guys with corporate breathing down their necks, and have done good work for me every time. Got my oil changed last week, fast and right. Sent my son there this morning, he had 1 bald tire and his car was shaking bad. They basically saved the day, instead of taking advantage like some places would when they see a woman or a young person. Used to go to gateway 10 years ago, had a bad experience and been at this Walmart ever since.”
“Was thoroughly impressed with staff's knowledge and concern. Have custom wheels that require particular machinery to replace. This store while brand new was not given the proper machinery to handle the job, however they still went above and beyond and got the job done. Awesome job and quick but do recommend an appointment as it was monday at 8 am and while there 6 or 7 walk-ins arrived and the wait time increased to over 2 hours.”
