We bought MY truck a little over a year and half ago. I looked them up online, found a truck I liked and went down to look at it, yes I understood going in it is a used car lot. Told them exactly which one but they couldn't locate it. That should have been the first cue to run. So we looked at a few others while they located it. He kept trying to push us into something way out of our price range. Then something that was way too small for a family of 4 with an infant(2 car seats)Unfortunately within the first 5 minutes of test driving it I knew from experience, that it needed new shocks and struts. When I got back from the test drive and told my husband this he said only get it if they fix it. (The particular engine in the truck drinks oil like crazy, that was the only thing I didn't know about it.) Ok, no big deal. I told the salesman that, and he said nope it's just our road. They refused to replace anything. So we asked since we'll be getting new ones within a few weeks can you lower the price at all? Nope. That should have been our second cue to run. So we start trying to get the price down anyway we can. I think they came down a few hundred bucks.(if that) We even said if we pay in cash how much would you take off? Nothing, what he buys it for is "basically" what he sells it for. I think in the end they "took off" $1000. Unfortunately because it was a "great" deal on an "LT" Silverado we took it. It isn't actually an Lt. It is however a repo, that they did not disclose, even after I asked directly if it was. (I only found out after I got the title in the mail.) I say "Lt" because the person that it was repoed from, took off all original door handles and trim and replaced it (horribly) with "chrome" trim. (Since the Memphis truck exchange called my husband, and requested that I take down my review, I'll take out that bit about they could have replaced the trim.) Once we bought it I realised that the map light cover and lights were gone, there was a dent in the bumper and there was no owners manual. The light cover was at least there when I testdrove it, and the dent isn't that big of a deal, I didn't have to worry about putting the first dent on it. However the owners manual would have been nice to have. After they asked numerous times if we were financing through them, or not and being told NO numerous times we still had to have them cut a check to us for "overpaying" it was put down that they paid for tag and title. They DID NOT! WE DID!! We paid cash for it all. The only good thing is that the check was good, and we got the title a few days before the temp tag expired. Don't go to them unless you want a repo that they don't tell you is a repo. Yes the salesman was nice, but didn't think a female knew what she was talking about and would only talk to my husband about the truck, which he (my husband) then looked at me for the answer. Just don't go here unless in the past year they have completely changed, and are willing to tell you that yes it's a repo.

BUYER BEWARE and stay FAR away from this place!! We purchased a vehicle for our daughter, TEN DAYS later it broke down and we had it towed to the mechanic recommended by Memphis Truck Exchange owner, Bob Karr. Since then, the truck has spent 66 out of the last 96 days in the shop at a cost of over $8,800 and counting. When we contacted Bob about the excessive issues we have had with the truck and the mechanic he sent us to for repairs he YELLED "You bought the truck used as-is. What do you want me to do about it?"
