Large Kroger, nice employees, checkout can sometimes take awhile

The deli section just will not cut meat to my specific instructions. I have asked repeatedly to please slice meat to very thin and they just cut it anyway they want. Employees are very rude and act like you are interfering with their day. Some just will not talk to you. MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO CORRECT THIS SITUATION. Worst grocery in city trying to get electric cart. Employee told me it's not their job description to look for carts. Management needs to be FIRED

Made an online pickup order for a cake; 4 days in advance. Received a confirmation email regarding order. Today I was prepared to pickup the cake at 9am. 30 minutes prior to pick up time; I received a call to inform me that my order had not been started yet alone would it be ready at the desired time. I was given an apology and the young lady stated that when the cake decorator comes in at 10am; she would ask to make my cake priority and try to have it done by 2pm or sooner. Next, I received a call at 9:52am from the cake decorator herself to inform me that my cake wouldn’t be done until after 3pm today! That she had two other cakes that were due at 2pm and 2:30pm. I was also informed that the icing for my cake was not available either! After I inquired about communication, and why would customers be allowed to place orders at certain times, if the decorator doesn’t come in to work until a certain time? I asked why wasn’t I notified at least 24 hours after I placed my order to inform me of the many issues with my cake. She said that was neither here nor there; the cake wouldn’t be ready until after 3pm. Horrible customer service, no compassion for others, and a lack of integrity on all levels is the only thing I received from her on the telephone. I will never order another cake from Kroger.

This Kroger has been going downhill in general for years and is now one of the worst Kroger locations in the city. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Superlo, Whole Foods, Aldi, Sprouts, Walmart, and Target are all better (and do not close early).
To the store manger (and/or Regional VP for this location): if you do not want to stay open until 11pm, then you should change your store hours and close at 10:30pm.

They didn’t have one single cart in the front. Then when I got to the register only one single self check out took cash and zero cashiers were working. Had the line for cash backed up down an isle. Slaw Kroger. I’ll stick to Aldi.

I came here at 10.34PM. Store closes at 11pm. But they close the door. I literally requested employee at the door to let me in to grab just one item. I don’t understand what’s the point of mentioning 11pm if you guys not letting customers in after 10:30pm.

Lines are constantly long, they started to close the register at 10:45 when the store closes at 11. so customers are bottlenecking the self check out because there’s nobody at the registers but yet some people aren’t lucky enough to close out and check out.

I bought 10 Powerade’s with sodium so high, causing my kneecap to ache and they made me extremely dehydrated. Which is the complete opposite of an energy drink. This is a quality issue, and Kroger only refunded me a partial refund, not the whole amount of federal reserve notes that I gave them. If you don’t know what a federal reserve note is, it’s not money it’s debt.
I remember growing up in Memphis Tennessee. There used to be some really nice mom and pop grocery stores as far as I am aware like Easy Way, and it’s extremely obvious that these big corporations have an evil agenda putting small mom and Pop business is out of business.
I’m not concerned anymore with people making fun of me it doesn’t make things better. It just makes things worse and it makes what I’m saying even that more obvious about things not being right with this world. It’s completely unnatural for you to go to work and earn a paycheck a bird doesn’t even do that, so why are you ?

All the poor people shop here and think in the back of their minds, Kroger probably doing me right. No no. Kroger sticking the little guy with gouged food prices…. Because as a monopoly and only place shop, you can do that. Aldi. Whole Foods. Cost saver
