if they’re going to run a grocery store like a bank, they should hire better, more polite mall cops than the ones who barked at me for my receipt this morning ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

On June 25, 2024 at the beginning of my 90 minute shopping at the Kroger on 1759 Union Avenue when security and the self-service attendant singled me out for carrying a backpack and shopping bags to carry my groceries home after I paid for them. They claimed that it was store policy that I couldn't take my items into the store. I had previously taken them in this store without incident until today. They all but accused me of being a thief. I don't drive or have a car to put these items in. When I have access to a car it's through a ride share. All I ask for from them is to shop in their store without harassment. I give them a minus one rating and half a star, for being bullied by them and by extension Kroger itself. If I could shop somewhere else I would, I don't have a choice but to shop at this Kroger. ?

Won't be coming back. The worst Kroger. I've never seen so many employees standing around wearing earbuds while ONLY self checkout lanes are open. The reason given was "management". Shelves not stocked, poor customer service, and trashy parking lot. Do better, Kroger.

Somehow they manage to make the checkout system worse every time I go.

In the store at 0630, virtually empty, checked out and as I was walking to the door the person manning the self checkout kiosks started yelling at me about a basket, had no idea what she was talking about I had earbuds in, it looked like she was going to stop me from leaving the store if I didn't bring the basket with me and put it back where I got it near the entrance. Parking lot is always full of garbage and there are always panhandlers at the entrance, definitely talking to the GM about this incident the next time I go.

Horribly bad customer service in every way, shape, and form, from parking to checkout.
I usually shop at Asian Markets with fresh produce without varnish coating it, real meats butcher that cuts meats from sides of beef and pork, and fresh seafood.
Kroger has no such products or staff. It's Frankenghetto food.
I come to this store for beer and wine.

There is not one line with a cashier. Self checkout is backed up to the cheese department. 50 people in line. Customers should pool our money and put a Publix here. I only shop here because there are no options. Shame on you Kroger!

Horrible, don't come here its Walmart 2.0. all the registers are closed and the entire store has to use self check out. Your waiting 45 minutes to check out one item. Just close the store if you are not going to have employees working. Parking is terrible as well.

They are getting rid of the cashier's and not monitoring the lines. I had someone wait in line with a full basket. Then someone they knew came about 20 minutes later with a FULL cart and skipped the line with nothing more than an excuse me. So, no customer service.

This kroger is always packed. You can only ever do self checkout... usually has what I need, but the headache of parking and check out keeps me away...

Kroger is now making it to where you have to go stand in line for a cashier if you have over 15 items now. Atleast during the day. And they only had 1 cashier the other day when I went there. Very frustrating but not enough to make me go some place else. I will stand in a line and wait because this store has always been the cleanest to me and I've been able to find associate that are very grateful to help me if I need assistance. Still frustrating but worth it I guess

How many times i've rushed to pick up an item to find they've closed at least 30 minutes early. Terrible customer service and too unreliable. I'm through with Kroger all together. I'll be saving making weekly trips to Costco.
