I had a weird woman stylist ugh consult me and she had no idea what she was doing. After a few questions about their method you can just tell after being around hair stylists your whole life who does good hair and who doesn't. It's not exactly rocket science. But terrible hair colorists are a dime a dozen and charge exorbitant prices for mediocre work. She unfortunately ugh fell into the later category which was sad because she had experience but it has done her little good. I grew up in a hair salon. Then we owned our own hair salon. And due to this, ugh, I know how to do hair, the colorists that had been coloring hair 40 years knew how to color my hair amd they taught me exactly what products to use on different hair colors and types. I'd color my own hair if I could reach. This woman ugh did not have even the most basic 101 knowledge of ugh how to color different hair types. I know this because I have always and will always ask what products the colorist intends to ugh use and she told me the incorrect product and said that I couldnt force her to simply do to my hair what I wanted done, and had done by far more talented colorists countless times ugh before. Ugh. So I ugh was so glad to know she was not an "expert colorist" at all and planned to give me the look SHE wanted, not what I wanted. So happy I knew she was incompetent before spending hundreds of dollars to be disappointed. I took my money elsewhere to a stylist I found that same Dat after I walked out that agreed to use the correct product, and she did sooo good. Half a star for Ghouls just because it's a pretty salon. Lol ironically turned out the worst experience I've ever had in a salon, and like I said, I grew up in my mother's hair salon, so that is saying something.

Here I got a pedicure in manicure done.By the young lady named Nandi, she did an awesome wonderful job.She is an amazing nail tech. This place was a very relaxing experience and she paid attention to detail.Did not rush the service and I will be back ten out of ten recommend

I did an online chat before booking a hair coloring consultation for my son and asked if they were experienced with doing Black people’s hair, and was told all their stylists are and there would be no problem. A few weeks later, we got there and the stylist they assigned us to greeted us and immediately told us she’d never worked with “ethnic hair” so she went to ask another stylist that sat next to her who she said “had experience with ethnic hair” but she had no clue either. She touched one of his two-strand twists and asked if we were looking to get his hair dyed with the twists still in, I said no because naturally, I would take his hair down before the actual hair-dying appointment. [We should’ve left then] She then goes on to say it’ll be 4 hours with three sessions and she charges 75/hour, which is not an issue for me. The issue is when you obviously have no experience with his hair texture. She then suggested “getting box braids and adding color to them” ???? —— It’s unfortunate that you still have to ask if stylists can work with a range of hair types in 2024 and they can’t. They should work on making sure their stylists can work with different types of hair.

The lady Linda was nice but I paid for my friend hair to be cut and style.I was excited for her but when I saw her hair it was not cute I felt like I wasted my money because my friend needed a haircut not a 1980 bob because her hair was very damaged and broke off she has not had her hair done in twenty years. I was disappointed looking at her hair.

My massage was pretty decent. The only downside was the therapist kept talking to me making it a little uneasy for me to close my eyes & relax. But for the most part I was satisfied.

Highly recommend that you not waste your time or money on the Grand Spa Experience at this location. Facial and island wrap were great, but I was given the wrong massage and the nail technician smothered me in lotion while complaining about the mess from the sugar scrub. The most she did to my actual nails was unevenly file them.. no cuticle or callous care (my fingernails were dirty when I left). I’m genuinely surprised at how poor the quality of service was especially considering this was supposed to be their best package.

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Maria for years! She does my bangs perfectly, and I’ve had difficulty communicating to other stylists what I prefer. I really appreciate that I can book a quick bangs trim because it’s frustrating when my bangs get too long but it’s not time for a full haircut. Their online booking system is easy to navigate and select a time that fits with your schedule.
