From beginning until end, the customer service was extraordinary. The salesman, finance people, general manager and phone support was nothing but excellent. Everyone was pleasant and showed a willingness to help attitude even the staff just walking by. This was the best vehicle buying experience I have ever had. Even after signing the papers, I received follow up responses to see if I needed anything or had any questions about the vehicle. I will purchase all my vehicles from here and highly recommend Volkswagen and Gossett.

Stay away! When I purchased my car about a year ago I was intending to get a lease based on elevated car prices at the time. I informed them of the rates I was seeing for leases at other dealerships but that I hadn’t found a car in stock yet. When going through the generic pricing they were way higher than the competition on leases for similar sticker prices. I asked if my credit being high would drastically lower it and they said “we can’t guarantee that but the prices are based on a much lower credit score”. I told them to run my credit to get my actual rate, they came back with roughly the same price as the generic estimate. I asked them to run it as a purchase. They came back with another number that my bank financing could beat. I told them I was interested in financing through my own bank at the price and was told “we’ll see what we can do”. What they did was run 5 new credit checks with 5 new banks in an attempt to match my pre-approval. Then while signing the paperwork they had me sign documentation after they had been run to approve it. I was going to let this go, I had debated reporting them for it but decided not to. I had a decent experience with my cars first service and thought maybe it was just one bad actor. But now I am moving out of state and will need a front license plate. A feature that is standard in many states and required by law in those states like a rear view mirror. When I called in I was quoted $95.99 for just the mount and not installation. For a part that if I had bought in another state would have come free and installed. This was the last straw, I bought the car brand new, I didn’t argue about the useless extras they threw in and they ran my credit 6 times with approval for running it once. Now they are nickel and dime-ing me for a feature that comes free in most states. I would not shop here and my guess is all other dealerships with the Gossett name behave the same.Update: The dealership is now denying that they ran my credit multiple times despite having records they could check to validate. I am currently looking at a Capital One Auto Finance query against my credit when I did not finance with them. This means at least two that I can validate without pulling a more extensive credit report.

I told VW that my check engine had been on for a few weeks. They said everything was good and the car battery was good. I'm at auto zone right now replacing my battery because I had to be jump started this morning. Bad battery after being tested. Disappointed in VW. Obviously they never checked my battery but gave me a good battery rating.

Dwayne Hunt is the worst service manager ever! He is terrible! His customer service skills are pathetic and he need to be removed from this position. He does know how to address customer’s properly when they have concerns about their vehicle and he seems to be quite incompetent!

On 8/5/2023 I took my car in for its 7th oil change. The technician stripped the threads on the oil pan and tried to charge me almost $1500 for a new pan, claiming that this happens over time. Thread shedding does not happen over time, what you can see over time is some wear and in this case the threads came completely off. The oil pan is made of aluminum and the screw plug is made of steel, in this case one material is softer than the other and if you tighten it too much the thread will be shed. The technician should use a calibrated torque wrench to prevent this from happening, it seems to me that he used a pneumatic gun or regular wrench to tighten the plug (too much force). I am an engineer and have experience in this situation and I can say with great confidence that even if the design is not optimal, the technician must know how much torque to use and measure it.

It was terrible. I have a brand new Tijuan and the parking light came on. I was told if i purchased extra warranty that it will cover what ever the manufacture did not cover. Well they did not! Out of my control the parking sensor was damaged when they pulled it out and checked it. They told me I need to pay $503.00 for the part or file it on my insurance, which i have a $500 deductible which i will still be out of money. I only have 6500miles on this vehicle and i it's not fair to me when Ive purchased extra insurance incase of something like this occuring. That is not the way the warranty was sold to me! And also the reps do not have polite attitudes.

Speaking to a service advisor who listens, seeks to understand and accurately presents the issues I came to have addressed is refreshing, results in a successful service visit and a happy customer.

Except for the cost, which I checked with a different Volkswagen dealer in Jackson, MS, being higher than I felt was necessary, the service was great. Dealing with Jen was a pleasure. She kept me updated from beginning to end and was extremely pleasant to deal with. Her personality is awesome and made the experience great overall. I'm not a big fan of the dealership anyway because of the experience I had when buying the vehicle to begin with but the service department is great. The cost made it a 4 star instead of 5 but that's the only reason.

I was greeted very nicely by Jennifer and my waiting area was very useful as I had some work to complete. It wasn't until my car was returned to me that I became dissatisfied. There was black grease on my driver side rug mat. The gentleman who brough my car our to me tried to remove it, but couldn't get it all. In addition, there was black grease on the area below the door. Now, I will have to spend some serious time trying to get all of this out. This seems like a simple thing to avoid being in the maintenance business - don't you place paper guards over the mats? And why are they technicians placing their greasy shoes on the area below where the door meets the car? This should not happen. Also, I had a question about the location of the tire mobility kit which was check during my 60,000 mile service. I have no idea where that was located or what it looks like. So, I called and spoke to the cashier who said she'd have Jennifer call, but she never has. Very disappointing.

I have been getting the runaround at this location for a week now. On wednesday 6/21/23, my car's check engine light came on. I didnt want to chance it, so i took it to auto zone, where they informed me the battery was really bad and they ended up replacing it. However, when they replaced the battery, the car stopped cranking.Auto zone reached out to vw and was told the car would need to be reprogrammed since the year is a 2021 but they wouldnt have any openings until the following week. Thursday, auto zone called again trying to get the car reprogrammed in a better time frame, and was told by the rep Amber, that the car could be brought in by 2:30 and they would look at it. The car is then towed to vw and after the 2:30 mark had past, I had to call for an update since one was not provided and was told, they are not going to be able to look at it until the next week. So here we are, the week of my car supposedly being looked at, and now today 6/28 we are being told, the invoice is going to have to be paid before they will look at it and its going to be an additional 5-7 days. I am getting the runaround because all of this could have been discussed last week. And yet vw still has not reached out to me regarding anything going on with my car even though they've taken my information numerous of times. In total, auto zone and myself have talked to 3 different reps, Amber, Jennifer, and Dewayne with still no definite answers on anything. There is no complaint number listed but im definitely still searching for one.

If I could give no stars that’s exactly what I would give❗️ HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE & SERVICE. If anyone is reading this and still decides to go here, well you’ve been warned. I took my car to be serviced, keep in mind my windshield was without a scratch. I picked it up and the guy drove it up as if it was just how I left it. I told him my windshield wasn’t scratched when I brought it, he basically told me maybe it was the heat and it’s nothing they can do? After constantly asking them to fix it he said he’ll have the service manager to contact me. I haven’t heard from anyone and decided to call again, Amber took a message for the service manager to call me back and guess what still no call! TAKE YOUR VEHICLES ELSEWHERE❗️❗️❗️YOU WILL THANK ME LATER❗️❗️❗️ UPDATE: The response below is false I haven’t received not 1 call from Jason and my voicemail has always been setup not sure who else car you all messed up and Jason called? I see you all will do anything not to take responsibility.

I can't complain about the customer service at all. My only issue is originally I was told I would have to wait about an hr or 1.5 hrs (via phone). I came prepared to wait. When I got there I was told about four hrs which turned into five. I appreciate them telling me that when I first walked in but it put me in a bind because I didn't prepare a ride and you guys don't have car services. I had to spend extra $ to take care of the other things I had planned. I normally have a solution when I present a problem but honestly I don't know how you guys can fix it. My overall interactions with the staff was pleasant.

When booking an appointment for routine maintenance I spoke with the service rep about the warning light related to the digital dash not functioning properly. The service rep mentioned they would take a look into it while serving my vehicle. Upon receiving my vehicle the warning light was still on and the rep stated that I would have to make a diagnostic appointment vs. a maintenance appointment to address it. This is the second time I've experienced poor communication and service. I can't understand why this wasn't communicated when initially scheduling service. I stopped making appointments online because of poor communication with service reps and VWs online system. However, making them over the phone isn't any better.
