I visited Memphis over the weekend and made a $35 purchase at this store. The cashier was elderly and very friendly, but she charged my card 3 times. I checked my mobile banking app after the 3rd transaction because I felt something was off. I made the 2 workers aware and the other worker took a picture of the 3 transactions and sent them to the owner. As opposed to the owner just apologizing for the inconvenience and instructing the workers to make it right he tried to convince me that the other 2 transactions would just fall off. I explained to him that’s not how it works and I needed a refund receipt for the additional transactions because I’m visiting and would be gone back to Illinois by morning. He stated he would be there in 35 minutes which was completely unacceptable because the fix was simple. He was rude, unapologetic, unreasonable and ignorant and relied on me being unintelligent. Please use cash if you wish to shop here. I personally will NEVER shop here again nor will my local family members in Memphis be shopping here.

This is probably one of the best liquor stores in this area. The owner is a really good guy and all of the staff go the extra mile to make sure the customers are satisfied. These are people people.
