You can't please everyone. People find things wrong with anything, but these apartments were a Godsend to me. I read the reviews and hesitated on even looking at a unit here when I moved back to Memphis. However, based on my budget and the area it was a good fit so I thought I would give it a try. I grew up in Raleigh area and have good memories. The leasing agent was so nice. He is funny too which made me feel more comfortable. The property manager was professional and explained everything. LET ME TELL YOU.... LOOKS CAN BE DECIVING- THEIR REMODELING IS GORGOUS. My apartment is so cute and I feel like I moved into a brand new apartment. With the prices of apartments and rental houses now, Gardenwood is a blessing to us single moms with kids. I feel safe and I feel like I matter.

I moved into Gardenwood in 2020 during COVID. At the time it had its moments with petty kids doing petty crimes. I moved from an apartment complex in Wolfchase where the crime was a lot worse than it is here. It's been pretty quiet. We got a new manager- Rimsy and she is the nicest lady I have ever met. How she can be so professional with all of the changes they're making I do not know but she has turned this complex completely around for the better. My apartment is so nice and has been remodeled. Maintenance comes as soon as you call and Rimsy makes sure of that!!! You are taken care of here.

My daughter and I came in last week looking for information. Three people were inside just starring at us and wouldn't speak. I felt unsafe and couldn't believe you would have such unprofessional people working as a leasing agent. I understand it's Memphis so you are limited but it was so disgusting the way the he spoke and the two women who just kept looking at us. I really felt like if we moved there the leasing agents would be the one's to rob you. Don't waste your time even if you are desperate you will definitely be unsafe there.

After living here almost two years,I have found that it is bug infested with old torned outdated appliance.You can not locked and doors in the apartment.All I can say say is don't waste your time

These apartments are horrible. No professional maintenance so the up keep of the complex is pathetic. The office attendants are extremely rude and lack professionalism. The complex needs to hire someone who will come and make the apartments better not worse. Or at least someone who has a passion for their job and not just the paycheck. Hire someone who is able to effectively communicate like an adult and remains professional at all times. Tanisha and Alex are by far the absolute worse office attendants this complex has had.

Horrible and unprofessional. Lied to from the beginning. 4 months later still being lied to and now disrespectful phone calls, and fail to give money back. Done!! Civil suit over return of deposit.

They never answer the phone. I scheduled a virtual tour they didn’t join the link. Told me I was approved then months later after finally answering the phone said that I needed a co-signer. Don’t waste your money applying places like this only help people they know.
