I dropped my 2015 Range Rover off on 12-04-2023 because of transmission problems. Mr. Livingston diagnosed the problem and I thought all was well. He explained that the warranty company would suggest a used transmission, but I had concerns about it being used. I spoke with the service manager and he informed that indeed the warranty company did requested a used transmission be installed. However, he stated that he had found one with low miles and at least a 36 month warranty on it. I get a call on 1/30/2024 informing me the truck was ready. I asked about the warranty again and he stated it was 12 months or 12,000 miles. I let him know that was not what was told to me. If that was the case, I would have contacted the warranty people and asked for a new one. I asked to speak with the manager, Mr. Livingston (who is a friend of mine) and he refused to allow me to talk to him. I did contact the warranty company to see if they could do anything and the answer was no. Fast forward to today, 2-01-2024, I get to the repair shop and paid the $350 deductible to get my vehicle. I did not say anything because I was disappoint with them, but they found it hilarious and funny that I was non-verbal. The service manager and his tech laughed as I was walking out the door. I thought that was so disrespectful and very bad customer service! The owner was no better than them!
UPDATE: 08/16/2024 - The transmission is acting up already, and I need to find another repair shop! Now, what kind of transmission did they put in it? This is the reason why I demanded better. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS BUSINESS!!!

Bad customer service due to the guy would not even hear my question out before telling me that he could not help me. I’m not sure if he could understand too well but that was rude. I’m not asking for free service just a service question.

I could not be more impressed and pleased with my car service. Livingston and team diagnosed the check engine light that befuddled the other Landrvr specialists in town. From start to finish they were professional and timely in their response.

Needed a PPI and service on a supercharged Jag with a check engine light that came on during a road trip. Very few shops can properly work on these. Found them online but saw the reviews were both good and bad. Local dealer would be two weeks just for a diagnostic (what?!) so came in when Livingston said they would stay late to run a full diagnostic. They found a long list of codes and maintenance needs including all rotors and pads, air mass sensors, all the 50k service items. Livingston pulled some strings and got parts overnighted, and they got all the work done in two days! He’s made additional recommendations and ordered additional parts that I’ll need. I can’t say enough good things about Livingston as a mechanic, shop owner, and as a person. Regarding the reviews others have left, I don’t know those situations, but I will say that if you are coming to his shop then you probably have an uncommon vehicle like mine that has special needs and rare parts, and you have to dial in your expectations correctly, otherwise you should buy a Ford Taurus and take it to Pep Boys. And if ever you find yourself in a situation like mine, there are much worse places to spend a couple of days while service is being done than Memphis - it was a great time and lovely people.

This company did about $4,000 worth of work and supposedly fix each problem (3 items). I had to return my vehicle twice in order for them to get it right. Now the 3rd item they supposedly fix I had to return and they wanted to make an appointment, and I did for 9am. I was asked to leave the car until the next day so they can figure out is what causing the problem. That is ridiculous! Why make an appointment and not look at the car the time of appointment? I guess so three can figure out how to charge me again for the Same problem! When the owner / manger was ask why they can’t look at it now, he responded by yelling his voice in front of his staff, making a scene. I asked him why are you yelling, he replied, I’m on the phone talking to someone (on hold). He stated, leave the car we will get to it later today and let you know what’s going on tomorrow . At this point, my trust for his leadership and ethics was loss. I believed this is a hustle and I can’t take any chances with anyone who is not going to be respectful, ethical and honest about my time and money. If I paid you to do a job you should try to keep your word and provide good customer service and do the job right the first time and not make like the customer is dum.

Excellent foreign car auto mechanic. Fixed my Range Rover when others wouldn't even touch it. Tow rates were reasonable, they picked up my car were very transparent and repaired my vehicle exactly as described. Even updated me on an outstanding recall. Very professional!!! They will be completing all my foreign car repairs in the future.

An extremely foul company. Owner discriminated against my clients after they made an appointment and paid to have their cars towed in on multiple occasions. High class customers only I guess.

Excellent experience, Livingston and everyone else at the shop was great. The turn around time from dropping off my car was quick and they did a great job. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a mechanic in Memphis.
