MS.MOLLY is very sweet. As a matter of fact, everyone there are Gems. The dedication is so emotional to me. We enjoyed our visit and will be returning.

These folks are amazing! If I could give them more than five stars I would and I have never written that in a review before. I was traveling with a newly adopted puppy and became incredibly scared and concerned when my brand new, not yet fully vaccinated puppy vomited in the car. I called in a panic and they immediately worked me in. Everyone on their team from the person who answered the phone, to the vet tech, to the veterinarian, was kind, friendly, reassuring, professional and knowledgeable. In addition to all of that, I was just waiting for the wallet biopsy that would come from an emergency weekend vet visit, but that never came - their prices were incredibly fair and reasonable. If you need a vet, I'd go here. I have never had a better veterinary experience.

Short answer- Place is clean and well layed out, friendly and attentive staff, prices are more reasonable than other places and I had a great experience with Dr Sweet and his techs! Long review - I found Eastgate through a Nextdoor post and then looked them up on Yelp to see the reviews. I was unable to get in with my regular veterinarian to have my dog euthanized, which was a blessing because I was getting tired of his front desk clerk always being rude (if you hate your job so much...quit, life is too short to be miserable). Away, I call and they didn't have an appointment available BUT offered walk-ins at certain times. I wasn't mentally ready to euthanize my dog of 12 years but she had lymphoma and was on meds, and just not feeling well. Dr Sweet did a "quality of life"check on her and added some antibiotics. One of the hardest things to know is "when" the right time is. However with the antibiotics, my dog started feeling better and I was able to have more time with her. Recently she went back down hill and it was obvious this was the time. So I did call her old veterinarian to see if they would be able to do it since we've been going there for over 15 years (with other animals) and I was told he was booked until the next week (never again). Obviously, I called back to Eastgate and they got me an appointment, and did offer walk-in if I wanted to go in sooner. My experience with everyone again was amazing. Clean, organized, friendly, compassionate, knowledgeable staff!! They have a new and dedicated client. I now will be taking all my pets here!!

If you need routine vaccines, cool; if your pet is sick and you want the symptoms themselves treated, Eastgate is an option. If you want the underlying cause of those symptoms diagnosed, go elsewhere. They aren't going to do that here. As friendly and caring as they may seem, and no matter how many tests they claim to run or x-rays they take, they are not thorough and will likely not get to the root cause of your pet's illness (or worse, they will mistreat or under-treat it). This is especially an issue with Dr. Molly Smith. I, myself, will never take another sick animal here ever again.

Excellent care here. I feel fortunate that we chose this place. Unbeknownst to us, the surgeon who operated on our dog and removed the sock from his intestine works here. Good to touch base with her after the first year with our BC.

Excellent!!. The staff is wonderful knowledgeable and caring. I believe they saved my dogs life. My normal vet was out of the office and though I have used Eastgate before I was just satisfied with my current vet. I think my vet may have missed something as this problem has been going on. I took my dog here only to find out that he had fluid buildup in his lungs and around his heart. I may not have known this and he may have died. Eastgate saved my dogs life.

I had an 11 year old cat she was old having a lot issues moving and using the litter box. The previous vet told me I should play with her more ( clearly I tried that before going in)

Since getting our rescue dog almost two years ago, this clinic has handled all of our veterinary needs. They spayed our fur baby, take care of her shots each year, trim her nails from time to time and will soon be providing her dental care as well. The doctors always give me a comprehensive overview of her health and questions are encouraged and answered without making you feel rushed. I recommend giving them a call if you're looking for a new vet for your pets.

The Vets and team at Eastgate Animal Clinic are the best. My pets have received exceptional care for the last 14 years. The care is excellent and the staff are so caring!

We made an appointment for our puppy and were told they would request shot records from our former vet at our appointment. When we arrived, we were told by the intake staff member to call and have them faxed before they could see us. Being on lunch because we were told it was a first visit checkup required to schedule neutering, we didn’t have time to wait in the parking lot for a fax to be received. The intake staff member snatched the clip board and walked away when we asked why they hadn’t told us that when we made the appointment saying “that’s just how we do business.” Well, East Gate Animal Clinic, you lost our business today and we are telling others of your rudeness and poor customer service and communication.

Worst front office service and customer treatment I've experienced in awhile from a business. I realize it's COVID, but when you show up for an appointment you expect to have your pet seen in a timely manner. There policy of calling them for them to come out and get your pet assumed they answer the phone. After 13 calls I gave up. Went in to tell them I canceling my appointment, and discovered the problem when a bunch of employees were sitting there chatting and not answering the phone. Done with them.

I can't say how amazing the Eastgate Animal Clinic staff is. I got my first puppy and wanted to make sure I started him off with a great vet experience, and they did just that. I was able to ask as many questions as I needed to and was thoroughly advised on a plan for my pup. Dr. Sweet was the best! Safely can say that I am a Lifetime customer.
