This Dollar General location is extremely disappointing. There's a cashier/supervisor named Daquarius who is consistently rude, and it's baffling why he holds any position of authority.
The management and supervision have been disorganized since COVID at this store, and it shows. Most of the managers are unfriendly, never greeting customers upon entry or saying thank you.
Wont be ever coming back!

I love the Dollar General app and the online coupons. I save a good amount weekly thanks to their $5 off a $25 purchase on Saturdays and the online coupons.

7/22/23 cashiers refused to check me out and tried to force me to use self check out. I don't work here. So I left everything on the counter and left. Do your job. Won't be back to this location.

The place was a mess, I couldn't get to a few things I needed because of boxes in the aisles, and also lots of empty spots on the shelves (really? no bars of Dial Gold? No microwave popcorn? And HALF the spice section was empty.) long wait to check out because only one register was open... I only give them three stars because the cashier was so friendly, really trying her heart out to get all the customers checked out in a timely manner (which just wasn't gonna happen with only one register open in a packed store).Edit, three years later from my original review- still a mess when they're actually open. They say they aren't hiring (I know more than one person that works for DG and has shown interest in transferring to this location to clean it up and keep it open) but the employees say "they good, don need no help) then the place is disgusting and only open half the time. This location needs shut down, those employees don't need to be transfered, they need to be let go

Store is always dirty, stock always in carts in the middle of isles, and employees standing out front smoking. Used to be a good store, but has gone way down hill in the last 5 years.

Place was filthy. Cashier didn't know how to run the cash machine and over charged me. Took forever to get him to even come to the register because he was to busy watching t.v.

This used to be a great store. Now they close whenever it is convenient to them, Sometimes 5:00, or as early as 4. They also will lock the doors at random periodically throughout the day. This place follows the new trend of doing whatever is convenient for the workers and blaming covid. The worst part about it, they will lock the door on you while you are walking up, then just look at you like you are stupid and offer no explanation. This happened to me yesterday at 4pm.

It took everything in me to not call the police on an employee here this morning after hearing about the way my mother was treated at this location. I would encourage whoever manages it to contact me directly because it's border line lawsuit. The tall black female employee with braids completely lost her mind. 4 people were waiting for the store to open b4 8am. A white male assisted her so they obviously don't trust her with a key. They were 10min late btw. She paced the floor back & forth then flung the doors open & walked away with an attitude. while gathering items to purchase my mother was shopping & the girl begins to speak loudly on her cell phone indirectly mentioning . "She better be glad we even open" "she need to gone on" I'm so confused like who talks to customers like this. complete strangers that aren't responsible for the line of work you chose. The disrespect continued. While at the register she throws her change over dropping some. My mother is 64 and told her I'm old enough to be your grandmother you can treat me with better respect than that. She responds loudly and enraged "you gone let me get it ain't it" "you don't know me and what I been thru" & kept rambling obnoxious things. I have never experienced this. Terrible customer service, unprofessional on every level & unwarranted harassment. If your having a bad day don't you dare go messing up anyone else's. I can't fathom a hiring manager even seeing an ounce of quality or worth in a person like her let alone to represent the Dollar General brand.
