I must say in advance that our employer paid for the rented furniture, not ourselves. Nevertheless, I just want to let the general public know that renting furniture for a short period of time (1-2 months) may make sense for some, but the longer you rent, the less profitable it becomes. After 6 months of renting, we could have bought the same furniture 3 times ourselves with the great advantage of owning it then and even still being able to sell it. The bed frame is junk, you can get it at walmart for 59$. It squeaks every day and the beds were not even properly assembled. You can't move an inch without it making noise.I don't want to bad mouth the company and I am thankful we got furniture, but for a normal person it is never a good idea to rent furniture long term. Especially poorer people to whom this is suggested as a good alternative will suffer even more financially. Better buy furniture used somewhere else.

The furnitures for the living room are fine. But the beds are almost collapsing and making lots of sounds. The vacuum cleaner design is from the 1970s and louder than a chainsaw. I really don't understand how they can rent out something like this in 2022...

So far my experience with Cort has been less than optimal. I am not sure what these reviewers giving this company 5 star ratings are seeing but I have not seen anything that so far that deserves a 3 start leave alone a 5 star rating. I have just finished signing a lease with this company and my overall take on them is they really need to work on their people skills. They are very bad consistent communication. Like when I was confirmed for my delivery day, they decided to get my credit card details just before the delivery men arrived. Come to find out the person who had my account was just recently promoted and obviously she just dropped everything on another account manager's lap with no details about my account. I had to call him to provide him my details before they were able to deliver the furniture the day of the delivery.. Also, I had a simple question about how I can post my payments, the customer service representative told me if I had auto pay I wouldn't have worry about posting payments. This is fair enough but that is not the question I was asking her. I needed a way to not only post my payments and to track them as needed. I am not sure if she was aware of this but everybody is not comfortable with auto pay and they could potentially want more control over how they pay their bills. I see nothing wrong with that and every other rational person can appreciate that. Not this customer representative. She spent more time over-talikng me, cutting me off when I try to talk, and trying to get me off the phone than trying to honestly help me. I guess you can say she was politely trying to be rude but rude is rude no matter how you try to explain it. Very rude. So when I see people posting 5 star for this company, I can honestly say, I have no idea what they are talking about. I suspect they are paid reviews designed to overshadow the negative reviews they have been getting. Whatever the case may be, I have been with this company about month now and I am already beginning to regret going with Cort furniture. I should have followed my nephew's advise and went with Haverty's furniture. They are a little pricey but at least they don't go out of their way to throw their customers under the bus.

I had the best experience with Cort! I bought a great accent chair at a really good price, I highly recommend. Billy even carried the chair out to my vehicle for me. I will definitely look there first for any furniture needs!
